- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? All inspectors start with the base price, the things that influence that base price are the age of home, square footage of home and any outbuildings such as a detached garage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First thing is I send you an inspection agreement and we schedule the inspection which usually takes 2 to 3 hours depending on the size of the house. On the day of the inspection, I typically do the outside and the roof, then I come inside the house, do the basement and the attic then do the interior rooms. Once the inspection is over I like to sit down with the client and go over the inspection and answer any questions that they may have. Then I go back to my office, type up the inspection report, uploaded it and send the client a link so that they can look at their inspection report.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Over 30 years ago I was trained as a plumber, which I did for many years, And I am now trained by InterNachi as a certified home Inspector.
