- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?My typical process for a speaking engagement are to establish what key point, if any, they client would like to be hit in the speech Once that is agreed the contract is signed. I may speak with the client once again before the speech to ensure that we are on the same page. For coaching clients we start with a discovery call and go from there.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Social worker for 11 + years working with infants to grandparents and all ages in between. We identified issues, goals and set a plan in place to address them. Four of those years as a Certified Adoption Assessor for the State of Ohio. Foster child twice in the foster care system. Aged out. Teen parent of two children, one of which had Autism.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I would speak when requested at schools, youth groups and conferences. Since that time I have left my job to speak, coach and train exclusively.
