Rachel is very knowledgeable of the most current trends in resume writing as well as online profiles, particularly LinkedIn. She assisted me in completely reworking my outdated resume, and helped me use that information to bring my LinkedIn profile current as well. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Given my extensive experience, my prices are very fair. I carefully develop the most powerful resume possible with every client. My fees include an original draft, and up to 3 edits if needed, but request client's response to each edit within 15 days. The pricing quoted through Thumbtack is typically very close.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Always starting with a phone call. There is no cost for an initial consultation - and no pressure. Skipping this step does not allow me to fully understand experiences, goals, and accomplishments. These are not stressful conversations - I enjoy people and really like this part of my job!
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have two national certifications (NCRW and NCOPE) and a bachelor degree in business. My NCRW accreditation means that I am highly trained in building powerful strategic resumes (there are only 70 of us in the United States with this accreditation). My NCOPE certification is for developing effective, targeted LinkedIn Profiles.
