John was really great at the start of the project. He was responsive, creative, and I was looking forward to working with him. Unfortunately he pushed the filming dates back pretty close to the deadlines which made me nervous already. Then on the week he scheduled some dates to film at some of our client's locations he didn't show up. A few days later, he emailed saying he had some serious family issues, which I have sympathy for, however, he did not cancel/reschedule or follow up with any of our clients he was supposed to go shoot. Clients were stood up with no communication.
In conclusion, I understand if there is a family matter you must attend to, but do not leave clients hanging when they are expecting you at a certain date and time. We've had to do some damage control as a company, and ensure our relationships weren't hurt with our clients, then hire a new videographer.

Confirmed that he will be at the event shoot and didn't end up showing up. Wouldn't return a phone call or email. put me in a very difficult situation.
