My wedding was yesterday (June 2022). Erica and Boom ... Married was the best choice that I could have made to make my wedding official. She was attentive, engaging, and listened to our wishes. The ceremony and the vows were so much more than I could have ever hoped for. She took everything we asked into consideration and then gave us so much more. I would recommend Boom ... Married to anyone and everyone who needs this service. I chose a package to have personal service and she delivered in so many ways. It was personal, not a generic wedding reading that you would see on TV, and it was absolutely perfect for us. She really listened and "understood the assignment" for lack of something better to say.

We were on a time limit for an intimate wedding ceremony and needed to find an officiant in less than 2 weeks. Erica quickly responded to my inquiry and communicated well every step of the way. On the day of the ceremony, she had a beautiful script prepared for us. She was prompt, kind, and respectful to everyone in attendance

My minister became ill 24 hrs before my wedding. I was in complete panic! With much comfort she was there for me just a few hours later for rehearsal! Definitely a 5star AllStar!

Our experience with Erica was a 10/10! We held our ceremony about 90 min outside of Columbus and she was more than willing to drive to officiate our wedding despite the distance. She arrived with plenty of time to spare prior to the commencement of our ceremony and was responsive and communicative in the days and weeks prior to the big day. Erica helped us compose a beautiful ceremony script and made the experience even more meaningful and magical for us. Thank you so much, Erica! We will never forget that special day!

Erica was a pleasure to work with! She was very professional, punctual and provided wonderful guidance through the whole wedding planning process. She even helped us with some day of coordinating after our wedding planner dropped the ball. We appreciate her so much and she made our wedding day perfect!

FAQs

• What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

  There is a 100.00 non refundable retainer that is due upon signing of the contract. This will hold your date. The balance will be due 14 days prior to the ceremony date. If the ceremony is more than 30 miles outside of Columbus, a 100.00 flat rate fee will be incurred.

• What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

  We start with a complimentary consultation. We spend 15 to 30 minutes talking about you and your relationship, how the ceremony will go, if you need any other vendors, etc. After our discussion, a proposal and contract will be sent. If you prefer to not have a phone consultation, there is a form you can complete and we can communicate through email. The option for a phone consultation is always available throughout the entire process.

• How did you get started doing this type of work?

  While planning my own wedding, I discovered there was a lack of representstion in officiants that were Black, queer or female...so I became one!
