Tom painted our garage interior at home. Not long before we met him, we had someone else paint the interior and exterior of the house. We were satisfied with the previous painting, but Tom's work was definitely better. The lines were crisper, the paint appeared to be a better quality and there was zero cleanup left for us. A few weeks later, we had a frozen pipe burst at our business office, The interior and exterior of the office had been painted about 12 months previously. Tom's painting of the ceiling where we had water stains was definitely a better quality, and so we had him paint the doors and trim, then caulk and paint the ceiling trim. His work really helped the interior appearance. On both occasions, he showed up when he said he would and finished within his estimated time.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My guide lines are mostly based on measurements: How many sq. feet of wall and ceiling space, how many running ft. of baseboard, or crown. Number of doors and jambs, windows or chair rail footage. Also the condition of the surfaces will dictate the "per sq.ft. or per linear ft" price. We find that this is an accross the board pricing system that is fair to all customers regardless of income level.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My Mother taught me how to use a paint brush when I was a young teen and I've been painting things ever since!
What types of customers have you worked with?
People from all walks of life; business people, doctors, churches, people from all income levels as well.
