Jessica has prepared meals for me on many occasions. Honestly I have never been disappointed. Her cooking is very diverse and delicious. Also, her artistic ability is very apparent in her presentation. I would highly recommend Jessica's cooking a meal for any occasion.

Sharifah has been cooking vegan dishes for my family for four years. I look forward to "what's for dinner", the tasty meals and the health benefits. Some of my favorite dishes are: Eggplant Parmesan, Kale salad, Mint orange sugar snap peas, Tofu stir fry with brown sauce, Quinoa salad, Black bean & vegan-cheese quesadillas, and many more. We love you Sharifah!

Christina was amazing. She came to the house, brought all the necessary ingredients and tools that I didn't have and prepared a lovely and delicious meal for us, including a lesson on knife technique and product selection. Christina was such a joy to be around and made our evening with guests so much more fun than we could have ever imagined. We will definitely use her again! (I have made the meatballs 100 times since she was here since she left me the recipe!)

Miranda did an outstanding job for us. She came to our home on a Friday night and led three couples in a cooking class, helping us prepare a fabulous beef tenderloin dinner, complete with roasted vegetables, hasselback potatoes, caesar salad, and two desserts--all gluten free and delicious. She she prepared the menus, brought all the food and led a personalized cooking class on par with classes at Sur la Table, or Cook Wares. When the food was ready, we moved to the dining room and had a great time of fellowship enjoying our culinary delights together.

How much do private cooking lessons cost?

You can take private cooking classes to have fun, to learn a new skill, to improve your health, to bond with your partner, to enjoy a playful first date or to have a unique birthday party experience. Nationally the average cost of private cooking lessons ranges between $100 and $150. Prices can vary, depending on where you live, the type of cooking class you’re taking, the ingredients the chef provides, and the reputation of the chef. Cooking classes with Anthony Bourdain will clearly cost more than classes with a local restaurant owner. The number of people in the class will also affect the cost, with group lessons often priced per person to account for the cost of ingredients. For example, for group lessons, a brunch workshop may cost an average of $70 per person, a steak dinner with sides could cost an average of $80-$85 per person, and a sushi lesson could cost an average of $100 per person. Ingredients play a major role in cost, as the chef will pre-purchase the food you will be working with. Weekday classes will usually cost less than weekend classes.
