- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My goal is to provide the most benefit for a realistic pricing structure. I firmly believe in the benefits of regular massage. For this reason, I strive to provide pricing and services my clients that are affordable, as to develop an on-going relationship of trust and benefit for both of us!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to spend a few moments establishing a rapport by introducing myself, and then asking the client to share a bit about their reason for this massage. It's important to me to understand the customer's concerns, questions, viewpoint. I do all I can to create a calm, relaxed, professional environment. During and after the session, I will ask for feedback as well as provide my observations and recommendations.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I had become frustrated with the "retail" approach to massage that has become too prevalent, and wanted to sincerely assist people. My inherent "caring nature" for people lead me to look into the benefits of massage therapy and I realized this was a good fit for me, so I began receiving instruction/training.
