Alicia, thank you so much for helping our newly adopted dog Jesse adapt to her new surroundings! We were afraid we would have to return her to the shelter because of her agressive behavior toward us and our other dog. But on the recommendation of a friend, we called you, and learned how to better control our dogs. We have no intention of giving Jesse up now! Thanks for your help!Mar 30, 2011

I appreciate the reliability, knowledge, and care of Special Friends Pet Sitting Service when I have requested pet sitting for my two cats!May 25, 2017
We will definitely use the SFPSS again! Our cats were well cared for but what the biggest relief for my husband and me, we didn't worry about the cats, we knew the cats were in good hands and checked on daily. The ladies even sent us pictures of the kiddies. 5 Stars!Nov 2, 2016Verified
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We talk with the customer over the phone to make sure that we cover the area that they live in and that we are a good match for their needs. We then have a meet and greet (no charge) where we meet them and their pet(s) and they us. We do a presentation explaining what are services are and the costs. No surprises!
- What types of customers have you worked with? Our most common jobs are mid-day walks while our clients are at work. The next common is taking care of the pets and their home while they are gone on a trip. All of our customers are enjoyable and love their pets.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?To make sure that the pet sitter is a professional and that they carry insurance that covers that home and pets. Also that they are bonded if they have independent contractors working for them. Make sure that they have memberships to a least one pet sitting group that provides educational avenues so that the pet sitter is up to date on pet information.
