I needed chain retainers welded on my travel trailer. I selected Brad’s Welding using the Thumbtack app. After describing my needs, Brad recommended a very reasonable quote, we selected a date/time. He showed up on time, was very personable and professional. Brad has up-to-date, reliable equipment and the end results were superb. I highly recommend Brad’s Welding for any of your welding needs.Jun 23, 2020Verified
Brad did an excellent job cutting and welding my trailer. He was very responsive, even stopping by to get a look at the job before quoting. If you get a chance to work with Brad, he'll treat you right! Thanks, Brad!!May 23, 2020Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I have a minimum of a $75 for a job. All other pricing depends on materials and time devoted to the project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I always ask for photos to reference what you are wanting or needing done. This helps me to better understand the project and allows me to provide customers an accurate quote. A lot of the times, we can discuss a few options to meet the customers needs and budget.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I trained at The Hobart Institute of Welding Technology. After graduating, my first gig was welding/fabricating top-fuel dragster and funny cars for the top level of NHRA. After a year, I moved on to a subcontractor that built custom cryogenic equipment for NASA. Five years later, I went into education to teach welding to high school and college students.
