Introduction: I love dogs (more than people)! I snuggle and love every dog I meet as if they were my own. I have searched for house and dog sitters for my own pets and found it to be difficult to get the level of care that I wanted, so I know what clients want for their babies! I am semiretired and now can do the kind of work that I really want to do. I love meeting new clients and their pets. I love dogs that remember me and get excited when I arrive. I was an event planner for 30 years and just like my career, I appreciate that every project is a new experience!

I hired Carol of Must Love Dogs a year ago for my older Chihuahua named Butchy. Butchy has experienced back issues since turning 10 years old so I was worried about leaving so many detailed instructions for our pet sitter. Carol listened to my concerns and was willing to work to meet all of Butchyâs special needs. Also, I learned quickly that Carol too had a Chihuahua and understood the demands of an older very small dog. In the year that Carol has worked for us, I have found her to be extremely reliable and trustworthy. Many of our neighbors have told me that they have seen her walking with Butchy around the block. She always sends text photos and messages while we are out of town which I found to be a nice touch. I feel she truly cares about animals and is genuinely concerned about their well-being. Butchy and I would highly recommend her as a pet sitter.

Carol was our best dog and house sitter by far. I will ALWAYS ask Carol to help us out with future vacation coverage. She stayed at our house at night to keep our 3 crazy dogs company. Carol made chicken stock, chicken, carrots and peas to mix with their dry food. She played with them on a daily basis and Carol even bought them toys. Our dogs are not small. Two are 90 lbs. and 1 is 80 lbs. Our 80 lb. male Boxer can be aggressive toward the other dogs at times. I believe Carol said there was one incident. We love our dogs and of course treat them like our children. Carol continued to treat them as children and made them happy. Carol has dogs of her own that she babies too. She checked the mail, watered the plants and kept the house very clean when the dogs would track in dirt and mud. Carol was at our home for the entire month of February and the dogs miss her very much. Carol IS THE BEST!!!! We love you Carol, Lynn, Zoe, Nana and Buddy xoxoxo

Had to travel for work and hated to board my pups...Carol, a dog lover herself, came to my rescue! She goes above and beyond to make sure your pets are taken care of. I loved that she walked them everyday!

Carol has taken care of our 90 lb Weimaraner on several occasions and is outstanding. She keeps in touch with us periodically while we're gone. Willie loves her. Her rate is very reasonable. I'm somewhat reluctant to write this review because we want to keep her available for our travels.

Carol was at my house for a week and took care of everything! She was great w our golden and walked him daily. She also took great care of our kitty and picked up mail and newspapers as well! I have already booked her to stay again:)

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Plan a visit to client's home to meet their pets. This is an opportunity for the pet to get to know me so I am not a complete stranger when I arrive to care for them. Discuss my fee. If house sitting, I request a tour and discuss what my client expects from me.
