We hired Jim to install a new dishwasher. He was prompt and did a wonderful job. I also had him check out some other small issues around the house, and he took care of them excellently as well. Would highly recommend hiring Jim.
Wade was very punctual. Called if he was delayed. Observed issues with plumbing, made repairs the following day with only about an hour of down time with my water system. Would recommend them again, price was reasonable for work performed.
Bill met me at a commercial site to see if I needed to repair or replace the ceiling mount projector screen. He did an excellent job at getting it to work. I called him on Thursday and he met me at the site on Friday morning right before Christmas. He is punctual and reasonably priced. I will definitely use his services for my next project. He is the best!
Daniel worked with me to fit me in his busy schedule to do a major repair to our furnace. He was also very responsive and priced the work reasonably.
Larry was absolutely fantastic!!! He responded to my thumbtack request for a brick repair guy immediately. He was fast, efficient, incredibly polite...and AFFORDABLE! What a great find!!! We will definitely use Larry's services for any future brick repair work.
I had the Happyhome Handyman Service install a mantle above my fireplace. There was a small amount of custom work required, but he completed the project with aplomb. Very impressed by the knowledge and diligence of the professional.
Joel was available on short notice to help us with repairing a dishwasher. He quickly diagnosed the problem, obtained the necessary part, and repaired the dishwasher-- good as new! He also helped us out with an electrical repair in the kitchen. Joel is very professional and does excellent work. We will definitely hire him in the future for repair jobs around the house.
Truly Excellent! On Time, On Budget. Highly Professional. Also, Paul took care of additional household repair problems and pointed out an electrical safety issue that I was unaware. I strongly recommend Paul Addis for any work that you may need have done by an honest, capable professional. Thank You, Bob Swisher
Anthony responded to my call and maintained good communications - text me when he was on his way - identified the problem - made the repair and was gone. Tony was prompt, professional and personable. Made no excuse that he had to pick up the part...he came prepared. I will call him if I need additional assitance in the future - give him a call and see for yourself.
I contacted Mustard General Contracting, Home Improvements, Handyman Service to install and stain four interior doors. Mark was highly professional and efficient in his work. He did a superb job of matching the stain of the other doors. I particularly liked the fact that he responded quickly to my call. I will be using him for additional projects in preparation for selling our house.
I called Columbus Local Handyman to have a craftsman install a "point of us" hot water tank under my kitchen sink do I would not have to run water so long to get hot water to come out of the faucet. I explained the problem to Lyle when he arrived. Fortunately I had not purchased the hot water tank. Lyle had a much better solution: a hot water re- circulation pump attached to the main Hot Water Tank. Thanks Lyle for having a better solution and a great job of installation!
The service that ComfortXpress provide was excellent, beginning from the engery consulant Scott Fryman, to the crew (Mick, Brandon, Chad and Dean) who came to install our Trane furnace. We transitioned for a Lenox all Electric to a Trane dual use propane/electric furnace/heat pump. Scott and the crew communicated with use the whole time understood our needs and meet all expectations. The ComfortXpress crew was not only on time, but usually about 10-minutes early, which is something you only see in the military. I plan on using them for all future heating and cooling needs and will recommend them to friends and family that live in our area who need heating and cooling services.
Joel showed up and did an excellent job repairing windows that my dog chewed. He even repaired a broken dresser for my wife while he was there. Excellent job!
Curt has done all our house painting for us since 2004. Curt recently has done all the painting and repairs to our home before it was put on the market. It included wall paper removal, drywall repair, exterior door replacement and interior and exterior painting. He is fast, neat and very reasonably priced. We hope to get him to come to NC and work on our new house.
Bruce completed a large drywall repair project in our living room, installed trim throughout our first floor, and built a new pantry in our hallway. Bruce showed excellent attention to detail and creativity throughout the projects, and produced work of very good quality throughout. Bruce also maintained a very clean workspace while here.
Took down a drop ceiling, installed recessed lighting and drywall ceiling. quote was given and work completely quickly within 2 weeks. Owners were onsight often and made a repair on part of the project I did not notice. Price was reasonable and the work was done very well.
Alan has truly come through and helped me out while in a bind. I am an out of state landlord and needed some major drywall repair on a unit. Alan gave me the best price and started the job within a couple days. His work ethic, quality, and professionalism are outstanding. It's hard to find an honest contractor but I swear I just hit the jackpot. Alan is an all around good dude and already feels like a friend. I consider myself lucky that he is working on this project for me. Thanks Alan!!!
Keith showed up promptly, was very thorough in his explanations of the plumbing and electric problems we had, and gave us multiple options for repair based on our desired budget. He also jumped in and helped with a light fixture install at the last minute, for the same hourly rate. Very professional and did quality work!
Highly recommended. Sam replaced 3 bath exhaust fans. He is professional, kind, and his work is of the highest quality. During the project Sam noticed an irregular vent in our attic which he repaired at no additional cost. Thank you Sam!
Daniel called ahead and was 15 minutes early to the job. He got right to work. Because he was labeled a "handyman", I actually had him work on several projects which we had discussed before he arrived. My sink was backed up, and a toilet that was leaking. I also had a ceiling-fan light, a wall outlet, and a bathroom fan I needed him to install. The plugged sink was the worst of the jobs since it ended up being a plugged pipe that he had to saw, snake, and repair in order to clear the plug. His perseverance and diligence in each job was commendable. He is personable and good natured. He is pricing for the work was quite reasonable especially for the unexpected extra time he had to spend to resolve the problems. I will absolutely be using his services again.
When Centex built our home in 2003, they went cheap and instead of using a pipe that fit, they soldered extensively behind the wall to our shower to make the pipes fit. When we went to replace the leaking shower head, we found this issue. The soldering had broke and needed to be repaired. We hired, after hiring several other contractors, Blessed, to come fix the issue. I corresponded with April, the owner, and arranged for the service. Bill called about 30 minutes out and arrived on time. I showed the Bill the problem, and he immediately knew what was the issue and how to fix it. I am currently on crutches so I was hesitant as I could not get in and out of the basement to turn off the water. Not needed. Bill was able to remove the old soldering, install a coupling, etc - and do all that plumbing stuff that I have no clue how to do. Long story short, he was done in about an hour and the cost was $25 less than he had quoted. He advised what small items we needed to do ourselves (he could have, but I asked if we could finish this part) to get the shower working - install face plate, and handle, etc. Note, others had given me estimates of a low of $500 up to over $1K. We found Blessed Plumbing also on the Blue Pages (Christian yellow pages) and were very confident with his work. He even gave some other suggestions on issues we were having (water hammer) and offered some maintenance advice on our aging sump pump. I enjoyed my encounter with this company and would not hesitate to call on them again for any plumbing problem we encounter. It is hard and rare to find honest people/contractors.
