Michael Boc did an amazing job turning my gutted house into an attractive, livable space. Everything in the house needed repairs, and he was more than capable of the renovations, including new drywall, wall insulation, flooring, outdoor siding, and a beautiful bathroom remodel. He's not only very skilled, but has a great eye and pays attention to detail. Michael really went above and beyond on the many projects involved in fixing this house. He was always kind and lovely to work with - I'll be calling him again, and would absolutely recommend him to anyone.
I was happy because they were able to work on our project sooner than originally estimated and it was completed in just one day. Reasonably priced. Friendly crew. Quality was imperfect- paint got on multiple light fixtures, cutting in not neat- paint on adjacent walls, paint speckles noted on laminate floor, and white walls in ceiling that was repainted in kitchen due to water spot still discolored and when I asked about it on that day was told it hadn't dried yet but visible even weeks later, drop cloths were dirty leaving dust and debris everywhere and even wet paint from another job on my carpet, which they did scrub out, paint brushes or roller used to paint white wall must have not been fully cleaned because there are faint blue patches all over the wall . They painted our dining room 2 colors so that a carpenter Joe recommended could install a chair rail. I thought the carpenter was coming that same day, but was unavailable. We were told he'd do the job a few days later, and it's been >2 months and no one has returned my calls.
d3 Services did an amazing job with our remodel. We had 3 bathrooms that needed varying levels of work (demolition, tiling, drywall, plumbing, electrical) and they all turned out beautiful! They are true professionals, they care about the quality of work they do and they make sure you are happy. They came every day as promised - not the norm with many other contractors! I would highly recommend them!
Rod was chosen from five bidders, all of whom were close in their estimates. Unlike the others, he initially mentioned renovation options ( both interior and exterior ) that had not been considered in the planning. No one else "thought outside the box". This was a complete renovation of a house to prepare it for sale: new flooring throughout, new padding and carpeting throughout, much repair work of damaged wood and walls, a wood-burning fireplace rehab; installation of new vanities, sinks, mirrors, med. cabinets and accessories, 5 new ceiling fans, power washing, painting shutters and repair and painting of storage shed, caulking around foundation, installation of all new interior and exterior doors. You can see that the job was all-encompassing and Rod was up to the task and did some unique repairs along the way. The only two detours included four dead electrical outlets that still need to be repaired by an electrician and the time frame ran more than 3 and 1/2 months. If you are willing to be patient, Rod will do a bang-up job for you. He would text pictures of items for my approval before he would make a purchase. He provided me with a receipt for everything that was required for the job. This was an $11,000+ investment, but the new owner is not going to have any headaches once they move in. I hope to hire Rod again for work at my own residence and would comfortably make a referral to anyone in need of his services.
This was a big project. We live in a ranch house with cathedral ceilings in living room. We contracted for painting of: Ceilings in LR, DR, kitchen, hallway to guest room, hallway going downstairs. Walls painted were LR, both hallways and kitchen. Not the DR because wallpapered. Wallpaper in kitchen below the chair rail was removed too and a border in the LR. Also, 11 doors were painted, the side shown, not inside. He also patched a hole in the front steel door and painted that and the wood around the garage and front threshold at No Charge. However, the wood trim will most likely need to be redone next Summer properly; sanding first then painted, but for the quick coverup was good. He buys his paint from Sherwin Williams at contractor pricing at $40 a can and we had to pay $494 in materials. I asked for all left over paint and a drop cloth that we paid for. I also asked for the receipts too. They started on a Tuesday and concluded by Thursday afternoon which pleasantly surprised us. Our last professional job was done in a week but they were much slower. In our last professional paint job, we bought Behr paint at Home Depot, 5 gallons of the same color. No ceilings were done then. I think that paint bought 12 years ago was $89? Mike likes Sherwin Williams and I'm glad they are a Cleveland company, but we'll see how it stands up in the next 10 years. We are a Behr paint family. The finish of the paint is supposed to be washable but it feels more flat but it isn't. We have two messy English Springers too. Always wear and tear in the home. We did have a choice to use Behr as well but went with his professional recommendation. The paint job was excellent and the reason I gave a 4 star versus 5 was because from the clean up sanding dust from patching nail holes and other larger holes. I had to clean all the chair rails and baseboards and little flicks of paint all over the wood floors and other floors. Just flicked them off with my nail. I just had carpets cleaned before they came and his helpers would walk over the hallway carpet without a runner on the carpet. I was freaking out a little and had to ask them to put down a drop cloth. They moved a curio cabinet, again not Mike, but his helper, and it got gouged on the bottom. I will do the touch up myself with stain. The paint on the ceilings, the walls and the doors were excellent. Mike caulked the window he painted too. So overall, it would be 4-1/2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ if that was an available choice. I would hire again.
We worked with Dave and his team for a driveway and garage foundation excavation and installation. Dave was extremely fair with his original quote and also agreed fixed our damaged sidewalk & cement step included. He also dug deeper footers than required and included the mesh last minute as requested. Unfortunately, we battled some unexpected heavy rain on the day of the cement pour. The rain unfortunately ruined the texture finish of our driveway at our rental property, but Dave offered to knock some $$ off our invoice and also sealed the driveway with diamond sealer for free. All in all: even though the end-result of the driveway doesn't look perfect because of the rain, I still would rate this job 5 stars because Dave did his best to make the situation right in the end.
I am 68 years old and have hired many contractors in my time and i must say that Paint Masters were the best i have ever dealed with. I am a stickler and a former tradesman myself so i am not exactly easy to please. These guys did everything expected and then some. The price was about half of the other quotes i received. They did the best top quality work, and even repaired some large holes in my drywall for free! I would reccommend these guys to anyone, in fact i am hiring them to refinish my wood floors next month. 5 Stars for Dennis and his crew!
I found Anthony Jenkins (Tony The Painter) through Thumbtack, and I am so happy that I did. Tony installed drywall in the basement of my home and then painted those walls..Separately, he applied Drylock on masonry walls. He then redid the floors in the basement. Tony removed loose tiles from floor, applied concrete mix to level floors.and painted the floors. The transformation of the basement is wonderful. In addition, Tony brought professionalism to the job. He made sure that the job got done and got done right. I also sincerely appreciate the terrific attitude Tony brought to the job. He was kind and positive throughout the project, and his pricing was reasonable. Thank you, Tony. I look forward to working with you again.
Andrew always shows up on time which is important to me. He explains a job in detail in layman's terms. His rates are very reasonable. He always pays attention to detail. He has installed a roof, sheet rock, siding, and flooring to a new addition. I am very pleased and highly recommend his services. He does wonderful work.
Anthony came out and did a wonderful job on our laminate flooring. He was polite and courteous, had friendly staff, and was very flexible in working with our schedule. He is also very skilled with plumbing and electrical issues and became a one stop shop for us to tackle several projects in our newly purchased but older home. We still have several projects to do and will be using Anthony again.
Bill can do anything and everything properly, from basic drywall patch and paint to complete roof install or replace electricalbreakers and panel. He has helped me over 10 years with my rental properties...no project too big or too small...installed french doors (with framing), windows, concrete patio, fencing, major plumbing...you name it. He is honest. If he makes a mistake, he takes responsibility for it, and his pricing is more than fair.
Bill saved our butts! We bought a foreclosed home that needed an enormous amount of work and without him we would still be trying to get in our house. He finished drywall. Laid carpet. Laid Pergo flooring. Custom cut odd shaped interior doors. Just to name a few
I bought granite countertops and when they were to be installed I was basically told that my cabinets were crap and needed to be replaced. My father-in-law who passed away this year built those cabinets himself out of solid oak. I needed to find a carpenter who could reinforce my cabinets and make them sturdy and level. Paul responded immediately, came to my house for a free estimate within the hour, complimented my father-in-law's work, and said he could get my cabinets where they needed to be no problem. He came back the next day with his helper Matt and they saved my father-in-law's cabinets in 3 hours for a reasonable price. Great work and a really nice guy!
Mike at MK Design Build completely redesigned our kitchen with granite countertops, cherry custom cabinets, 18 inch ceramic tile floor and stainless appliances. He created a modern open concept by removing an indoor wall and adding a 4 seat bar. We are extremely happy and very impressed with his quality of work.
Armorlike solved a problem AND transformed my garage floor into a grand entrance way to my home. Before I knew about Armorlike I had installed a floating interlock rubber floor which trapped moisture between the flooring and concrete-big mistake. Now I have a great looking floor that is very easy to maintain and moisture issue is gone!
My experience with Justin was absolutely outstanding! He takes pride in his work and really gives great attention to detail. Our glass tile backsplash came out exactly how I had pictured it. I will most certainly hire him again for our next project!
Jeremy is the best! He did the flooring in my house and at my salon and I wouldn’t trust anyone else to do it! It looks absolutely perfect he truly does a great job
Beau did an outstanding job helping me finishing the flooring in my basement. He went well above anything I expected and even helped with areas I was finishing up myself to make sure everything was finished nicely. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
Originally, I was only looking to have a metal banister in my home replaced. Then I got to thinking, I have this contractor here, now is the time to start asking questions. Shawn was informative and helpful. I decided to have a laminate floor installed in my living room. He has a very nice team of guys working for him. They came in and put the floor down in no time at all. It looks amazing. Then on to my original intention, to replace that banister. Along the way, James had to make his own modifications and it turned out beautifully. I am very happy. I look forward to working with Shawn and his team again.
Mr Hoyle redesigned my kitchen, installed new sink, cabinets, floor and complete painting. He also did flooring and painting in dinning room.
I provide handyman services, if it's broke I can fix it. If you can think about it, I can build it. I have 17 years of experience in the construction and remodeling industry. And 5 years of working experience in hard surface flooring installation.
