FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For a balloon artist we charge $85/hour for one hour, we charge $80/hour if you hire us for two or more hours or hire two or more balloon artists. For a face painter we charge $50/hour. We also charge 30 cents per round trip mile from our shop to your venue. The mileage/travel fee is only paid once, even if you book 2 or more entertainers. For other services, such a balloon sculptures, we charge based on the amount of materials used plus labor. If you give us a target budget, we will do our best to make what you want, or something similar, within your price range.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We both attend conventions, take classes, read trade magazines, network with other professionals in our field, balloon jambs, and purchase and watch professional videos demonstrating new techniques.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
We both love art! Beth Swick had a hands on art studio and Teisha Strelow had a balloon company. Beth called Teisha and a year later they merged their businesses and are both continuing to learn more about each others craft. We both love and are passionate about what we do. Not everyone can say that about their line of work.
