Lisa and The Doggie Inn is the only place I trust my girl to. There was never a question where I would board Joplin if I went out of town. Joplin is a rescue that Lisa had boarding at her facility. She's committed to all dogs under her care and I wouldn't board with anyone else.

About this pro

I believe in training the people to train their dog. It all starts with us. I use a variety of tools to do the foundation work with the dogs. I will discuss the different training techniques with you during your evaluation lesson. I use a pressure, release technique which uses a natural pressure point to create calm. One of the tools I use is created with a transitional leash method. The pressure point on the muzzle of the dog is genetically ingrained in dogs to calm down when pressure is applied. The conditioning is the most important part, this is the reason we do a 7-10 day board & train.I use it as a training tool, not as management. I also think its a great way to instill the human as leader in a calm manner. "It is the first conversation you are having with the dog" In the clients case, it would be the first conversation of the new improved relationship. I imagine the dogs are like "what ???You never made me do what you said before." I use it as a training tool, not as management. . I am very connected with the dogs I work with as well as the dogs boarding with me.Working with all different breeds is my passion. I also love that i can help the owners or family realize as long as they put the work in to the dog, at any age .. that dog can be their best friend for life.

    Q & A

    • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Evaluation of the Client & Dog is $75.00 for a session & homework training help lasts between 1/5 hrs to 2 hrs. If the client would like to do a training package with us , I will deduct the $75.00 from their package cost!
    • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I set up an evaluation meeting. This will last 1.5 to 2 hours at my facility or the clients home. There is a fee of $75.00 and this will also give the potential client homework they can do on their own. If the client would like to do a training package with us , I will deduct the $75.00 from their package cost!
    • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes of course! I work with the top trainers in the US. I travel to the workshops and attend the conferences that have the top trainers. It is a constant education and the trainers I seek out are the best in their fields.
