I've been taking voice lessons from Natalie for a couple of months and just in the short time, I've improved my vocal technic and qualiy. I'm almost 40 years old and wish I would have started voice lessons a long time ago. There is so much more to singing than I realized. Natalie is extermely knowledgable, experienced and provides an easy and comfortable learning environment. She also video records each lesson so I can go back and practice excerises and recall our conversations and helpful tips. If you are thinking about voice lessons, I would recommend calling Natalie.
I had the pleasure of taking voice lessons from Peg for ten weeks last summer. She is very helpful, patient, dedicated, positive, encouraging, and full of energy. I learned so much about how the voice works from her. The exercises that she taught allowed me to use muscles that I never thought I had. I didn't know I could reach such high notes. Even though I only had her for 10 lessons, my singing techniques vastly improved, and I walked away with the knowledge of how to improve my voice on my own. She is an amazing teacher, an awesome artist, and her passion for music is obvious. I definitely want to take lessons from her again. Peg is simply the BEST!
VoiceActivated has been wonderful for my 8 yr old daughter. We tried voice lessons thru another company which was not a good experience and my daughter wanted to quit viice lessons entirely. VoiceActivated is helping to build my daughters confidence and provide instruction in a very positive direct way. My daughter loves her voice lessons now!
Christine is so patient and encouraging! Even for someone who feels like they have two left feet - vocally speaking - she never makes me feel like I can't be a superstar! Highly recommend her for voice lessons.
My kids have been taken guitar and violin lessons with Lilia, and they love it. She's very professional and friendly. She teaches the kids at the appropriate level and speed. I have truly enjoyed watching them learn their instruments without worrying about their comfort and safety.
My daughter Anna began taking piano lessons from Mary Jane Griffin at age six, and when she was 14 she began taking voice lessons as well. During that time, Anna not only received a wonderful education in music from a very professional and educated instructor, but she also learned how to perform, overcome setbacks and obstacles, and to graciously accept and appreciate success and praise. Anna continued with both piano and voice studies at Musically Yours until she was 18, at which time Mrs. Griffin not only helped her find a college where she could continue to develop her musical talent, but also coached her for the auditions and wrote a recommendation that helped to earn her a substantial scholarship award. Mrs. Griffin has been a positive influence, mentor, and friend, and I recommend her unequivocally.
I have taken singing lessons from Mrs. Sturgis for 3 years now, and I have seriously learned more than I ever thought possible. In just three years, I went from not really knowing how to sing (and only a very basic knowledge of musical notes) to preparing to take music lessons at a college level! And I owe it all to her. She is a phenomenal teacher and I couldn't have asked for a better one. She is incredibly knowledgeable, forever patient, completely dedicated, is always willing to explain things as many times as need be, and maintains an open and pleasant atmosphere which made learning not only educational but incredibly fun and rewarding. She is truly outstanding, and I would recommend her to ANYBODY who wants to learn about music and how to perform it.
I took voice lessons from Amy for about 5 years. She greatly helped me in learning all the proper ways of breathing and all that goes into being a better singer. She also gave voice and piano lessons to 2 of my nieces and they loved Amy and looked forward to their lessons with her. She's very talented and uses her God given musical gifts to help others.
Very professional, bubbly and friendly personality! I'm excited to be working with Tirzah.
I am a resident of Gahanna looking for any potential students that may be able to benefit from my talents. I attended the University of Michigan starting with a major of music performance. I then settled on my major in theatre performance with a minor in musical theatre performance. I have worked in several venues of professional theatre and performed vocally in any way, from weddings to large events. I taught voice lessons privately and through an institution for a little over a year. I have experience working with ages 5 years to 30 years. I also have experience working with children with autism with much success. I have training in the Estill Voice System which allows you to understand your voice much like you would learn how to play an instrument. I am flexible with schedules and pay rates upon discussion. If you desire to listen to a sample of some of my performances, please provide an email address to send an audio file.
