He did great work installing our sump pump. Fair price and a pleasure to work with.
Dave has performed work on a number of homes I manage throughout the Greater Cincinnati and Northern Kentucky area. He is prompt in arrival, communicates well with scheduling repairs with tenants and keeps me informed of any unexpected items he may encounter. He does a great job every time. He has done repairs requiring carpentry, electrical, tile, plumbing, siding and any other task that needs done. HE IS NOT AFRAID TO WORK!!
Did a great job of installing a ceiling fan and changing out some lights.
Jerry Marcum did an outstanding job installing a new water heater on short notice. Our house is over 25 years old. Consequently he encounter a few unexpected issues. He took those in stride and resolved every problem while keeping us fully informed. He stayed longer than he expected (well after normal work hours), but did not leave until the job was done. He takes pride in his work which is obvious form the clean installation. He did not take short cuts just to get'er done and offered a very fair price. I would recommend his services to others.
We hired Glenn Willis of Willis Installations to build wooden steps with railing and lattice work off the back of our house so we could access our paver patio, as well as, install a new front door knob assembly and to replsce a pull chain light bulb housing. We are extremely happy with the all the work that was completed by Glenn and will use his services again. Glenn was very accommodating, knowledgeable and his prices are extremely reasonable.
Challenging natural stone back splash installation was accomplished expeditiously and professionally. Aims to please!!
We contracted with Ian Cheadle of Cheadle Construction (937.580.9098) on December 4, 2015, and we are very glad we did. The project centered around the replacement of carpeted and tiled flooring with 3/8 inch Engineered Hardwood in a glue-down installation. This was a project that we, homeowners, had started the previous May, but after completing our great room, the project lost momentum leaving our downstairs in a half-baked configuration. We were simply not looking forward to tackling the myriad of difficult cuts required for our front entry-way, parlor, and hallway, all of which are at odd angles to the walls opposite. In late November, we decided to hire a professional. We found Ian and contacted him via email and he came to our condominium ON TIME, sized up the work and had an estimate/contract prepared for us shortly thereafter. Some prices are a set amount, while others are by square-foot or linear foot. It was all clear up-front. We removed the baseboards, carpet, carpet liner, carpet tack strips, and tile ourselves, revealing a concrete sub-floor upon which the new project would be glued. We were not, however, able to chip away the mortar that was underneath the tile. Lucky for us, Ian had a tool similar to a jack hammer that was able to do that job. The particular choice of materials and the method of installation were ours, and were not products he had worked with prior. Ian listened to our own experiences and in addition did his own research, including contacting the company. So when he began work, he was able to hit the ground running. We should mention that this was "click and lock" flooring in name only; it takes some real persuasion with a hammer to get each piece to lay flat. And the glue, although a great product, is also very messy, requiring constant cleanup. The project also involved the installation of baseboards. We chose 1x4 common board, and did the sanding, priming, and painting ourselves, leaving the cuts and installation for Ian. He caulked all the gaps, leaving a finished, professional look. There were no surprises during the installation. Ian asked all the right questions, and turned our vision into reality in less than a week. Having done this work, ourselves, the previous May, I can tell you that his constantly cheerful attitude must be a superpower of some sort. So, now, the project is complete, the place looks great and we can once again welcome our cars into the garage, just in time for winter. This is a link to a photo on google drive showing some of Ian's work: https://drive.google.com/file/d/0B4P1TMU9HITkMWk4Y0dIVG0wSGM/view?usp=sharing We were delighted with how it all turned out. Had a new water system and pump installed in my house. He was prompt, did a grat job and explained everything , and he cleaned up after he was done.
Derrick and his team have done several really varied types of jobs for us. First, in order to deal with a water problem in our backyard, they dug and installed a 110-ft. french drain last Fall. It was a big job where they actually had to take our deck apart and put it back together to get done, and they did it well ~ water problem solved. He even came back in the Spring when I had a few questions, just to ease my mind about the water and explain to me again how it works once the Spring rains started. Didn't make a dime, just providing excellent service. Then recently, B&B did a fairly large Spring clean-up of flower beds and slice seeded my yard. Again, showed up exactly when they said they would, wonderful communication about some issues they encountered, and a completed job that looks amazing. The issues that came up worried me, as they were unexpected and could have cost me a lot more money than I had budgeted, but Derrick came up with a pretty inventive idea to fix the problem AND gave me a deal on it to boot. I won't ever consider another landscape company after working with this one. Much more than landscapers ~ problem solvers. AND they don't consider it finished until it looks GREAT!
We hired Mike to do some interior painting and lay some hard wood floors. Mike ended up with several other small projects as well. He did a fantastic job. We will definitely utilize his skills again. Very friendly, honest, and does great work. I am more than pleased with the outcome.
Byron did a great job installing our patio doors. I would recommend him to anyone with home improvement or remodeling jobs. He's a pro.
