Pet Photography Studio Session: I wanted some studio shots of my dog Bruce. Renee is great and very patient as most animal photgraphe's are. Bruce unfortunately was a basket case with the shooting of the camera and the pop of the large flash, I had to put him on a leash to get him to stay in one spot (which was edited out later). Surprisingly enough she got some great shots! The only down side was the studio was really hot and I was dripping sweat and my dog panting (hard to tell if it was from heat or anxiety!). Otherwise I recommend and the price is right. You can download all the photos to print at your place of choice or purchase them through the website for high grade quality.

Renee was perfect! We gave her a concept for our photoshoot and she ran with it, giving us an amazing set of photos to choose from! She is friendly and flexible, and created a comfortable environment for both us and our dog. We would hire Renee again in a heartbeat (and intend to).

I'm very pleased with our experience. Renee was very patient with my dogs. The photos turned out great!

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I photograph engagement sessions, weddings, senior photos, family portraits, professional head shots and modeling portfolios. However, my true passion is for dogs. I volunteer for Powell Animal Welfare Society and take photos of their foster dogs once a month. My clients love having photos of their dog that could pass for photo used in a Purina advertisement. I'm praised for my ability to stay calm and patient while working with pets. I have experience working with all kinds of dogs: champion working dogs, rescued dogs who were abused, 8 week old puppies, etc.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Start by insuring that the photographer has a style that appeals to you, everyone has different tastes and expectations. Once you find someone who can produce quality images, determine how they will provide you with the final product (digital copies with a photographer release or a link to purchase prints at an increased price). A copy of the images with a release form may cost you less money for prints than if you are directed to another site to purchase the prints. Inquire about the turn around time to insure the time frame will meet your requirements.
