Rev. Sam officiated our wedding 9/2/17 , he was awesome! We loved his delivery and the ceremony fit us perfectly. Highly recommend him. Thank you so much Rev. Sam :)

Wedding Officiant
My Husband and I are forever grateful to Rev. Sam. He is a patient Man of God. There was a delay on our ceremony and we had a chance to chat. We learned his heart is filled with an abundance of true love. Rev. Sam was available each and every time I needed to communicate with him. We left out what was to be communicated about our rings. He wisely included exactly what we had chosen yet left out. That I know was sprit to sprits. We decided to donate an extra portion to him because of our gratefulness. We have and will always recommend Rev. Sam as a wedding officiant. Sincerely, Anthony and Kim

Wedding Officiant
My husband and I found ourselves without a wedding officiant just two weeks before the wedding. Not only was Rev. Bryd available in short notice, he provided an excellent ceremony with very little time to plan it. He even attended the rehearsal and helped us feel vert comfortable about everything. He was exactly what we were hoping for.

Couldn't have asked for a better person to officiate our wedding. Rev. Sam was so flexible with the ceremony set-up and very responsive with emails! We were extremely happy with the service he performed. I am always brutally honest with reviews, and i can't express how pleased i was with Rev Sam! You will not be disappointed. I would recommend him to absolutely everyone! Thank you Rev. Sam for such a perfect (even though it rained) day!:)

Wedding Officiant
Absolutely amazing. We were married on Friday (5/13/16) and we couldnt wait to post our review. Reverend Sam came to both my rehearsal and officiated my wedding. Hes was extremely patient when one of my bridesmaids stopped for pizza before arriving to the rehearsal and was late. He was tolerant when my dj messed up a cue and annouced us instead of him. My ceremony was absolutely beautiful. Couldnt have picked a more accepting or tolerant officiant. We were so glad we found Reverend Sam Byrd!

FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? After I get a deposit to save the date in my calendar, I send you a variety of ceremonies from which you can choose or mix-and-match. We discuss any special rituals, such as a sand ceremony, that you would also like to include. Sometimes a couple wants a more unusual ceremony, such as Wiccan or with hand-fasting, and I find examples of such things for you (at no extra charge, of course). I am able to help organize the entrance of the bridesmaids and groomsmen. Most weddings don't seem to need a rehearsal, and I can be helpful in putting together the details on the wedding day. On the day of the wedding, I have been told that I am a calming presence in the midst of great activity. I hope I could do that for you.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have two degrees in theology, and M.T.S. and an M.Div. I am a minister in the Unitarian Universalist church, but am very happy to put together ceremonies from other traditions, or ceremonies that have no religious affiliation.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?I love weddings. As a minister, one of my favorite duties is to perform weddings. Weddings give me an opportunity to work with a great variety of people: I have performed weddings for same-sex couples, people from many (or no) religious backgrounds, and so many ethnicities. I discovered I was good at getting a vision for what people wanted in a ceremony and helping them make it happen.
