Karen was wonderful, she came to my family's home during a difficult time and was so kind and helpful, created a really nice relaxed environment for us. I highly recommend her.Feb 22, 2017Verified
Karen spent a lot of time listening to my particular issues and I felt she really heard me. I have had a lot of deep tissue work done for a variety of issues and I am rating Karen right up there at the top. I made another appointment for two weeks out and really look forward to a progression in our work.Oct 12, 2016Verified

- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?As a nurse I am required to do 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years. There is no requirement in Ohio for MTs but I have done 150 hours on my own during this past year alone.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?It was a natural progression as a nurse to pursue massage therapy. I did relaxation massage for some of my patients as a nurse and noticed how much less pain medication they would need, especially post op. Then I had massage therapy to help me with migraines and it worked better than anything else for me (including meds!). It was then that I was hooked!
- What types of customers have you worked with?Every day can be different based on the clients needs but I do a lot of therapeutic medical massage and manual lymph drainage for people who have problems with swelling as well as deep tissue massage.
