FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing includes discounts for repeat customers, frequency mows, along with others. Be aware that if you would like the clippings to be bagged and hauled away, you must choose that option. Doing so, allows my team and I to plan ahead properly. If you have an extremely small yard, less than 300 sq ft (some Lakewood yards), I am willing to work on price for those properties. Thank you.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is first and foremost introducing myself to a new customer so they feel comfortable with who they have chosen for their needs. I tell them how I operate, what days I am available and ask them to tell me a little bit about their yard. When I arrive the day of the job, I ask them if I should be aware of any certain areas of the yard that I should avoid, for example, certain flowers they want kept, poison ivy spots, lawn ornaments that may be hard to see, basically anything that the mower and trimmer should be cautious of. After the work is done, I ask the customer if they would like anything else accomplished, and if they are satisfied, it's on to the next job. If not, my team and I stay until the work is complete. Thank you.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I got started doing this type of work as a business somewhat recently. I have, however, been taking care of my own lawn for sometime. Recently with the urge to be outside, and student loans becoming a bother, I decided to start doing this part time. So far, I have seen much success and love all the new people I get to meet. Thank you.
