I would highly recommend Sheik-Beatz to teach drum lessons. He recommended the shorter half hour session to gauge not only the attention span of my 4 year old, but his willingness and capability to learn. He also wrote down everything he taught my so. So that we could go home and review with him ourselves. I look forward to continuing lessons!

I've been taking guitar lessons with Christian for about a month now and I can honestly say I'm really pleased with the experience. It's clear that Christian has a love and talent for music and has chosen to share it with others. I've tried to teach myself guitar on and off for 10 years and never got far. Now, a month in, I'm already starting to learn my first song. Christian is organized with planned lessons based on the level you're at and teaches you the tools you need in order to play and eventually even write - including music theory. He's patient, can explain things in a way that makes it easy to understand, and there's never any rush to learn a new step before you're ready which - as a student w/ two jobs - keeps lessons and practice fun and easier to stick with since I feel like I can take my time and learn at my own pace. If you're looking to learn guitar, definitely give Christian a call.

Roger Parish is an OUTSTANDING music instructor! He taught my siblings and I music lessons 30 years ago and now I have the pleasure of watching him teach my own children (piano and drums). He expects a lot out of his students and has a unique ability to develop their desire to meet and exceed his expectations! His praise is hard-earned, as such, it garners a genuine sense of pride and accomplishment when given. I highly, highly recommend Roger Parish to anyone looking for a highly skilled music instructor that is truly operating in his gift!

Tony was very quick to contact me after I expressed interest in taking guitar lessons. He gave me a quote, set up a practice period of several lessons without a contract, and made it easy and affordable to start learning to play. I would recommend Noteworthy to other beginners.

I have known Stu Johnson since February, 2009 when I began taking drum lessons at Second Floor Studios. I have worked with other drum instructors in the past but never with one as patient, friendly, and diligent as Stu Johnson. I am very impressed by his knowledge and experience and most importantly his willingness to share what he knows. He has always been willing to go at my pace to and answer any question in ways I can easily understand. Stu is a fantastic drummer and educator, and I highly recommend him and Second Floor Studios. My lesson with Felicia was absolutely fantastic. I was nervous when I decided to take the class. Thinking it was going to be embarrassing singing to someone who has years of professional experience. However, Felicia made me feel comfortable and I know I'm getting results with her. I only had one lesson so far. But I know it was the start of something incredible. Would totally recommend.

"I started taking guitar lessons from Steve Spires' late father, Chuck Spires; and have continued my sessions with Steve the past 4 years. Steve Spires is a talented musician who teaches you how to play the instrument; including music theory, improvisation, scales and marking time. Your lesson is tailored to you. From his vast knowledge, I have learned to play, appreciate & respect different styles of guitar music. Diverse in his teaching, Steve welcomes students' input on what they want to learn. The Steve Spires Studio is a fun atmosphere. He also encourages his musicians to get together and play under his guidance at the weekly open jam sessions at his studio." Stephanie Harnetty

My 4 year old daughter and I have been taking piano lessons for the past 4 months. We have a wonderful teacher in Philip. He is so patient with my daughter and so helpful to me. It is so easy to have the lessons in our home. I don't have to worry about traffic, being late, or rounding up my daughter to get to lessons. PLIYH also has a wonderful lending library so you don't have to buy many books. I would recommend them to anyone.
