Joe came to fix a gutter on the second story of the house. He responded to my request, with a very reasonable fee (compared to most companies that charge a minumum of $200). He was able to come at 2 days later at a time that was reasonable for me, and even adjusted the appointment when I had something come up. He came out and installed some additional gutter hangers and even tested the repair. He also cleaned out the gutters that I had "cleaned" by a larger company a month prior. After he completed the work he told me to give him a call if I still have the same problem during the next rain. Joe was responsive, timely, and fair. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for someone to do a job at a fair price! I will definitely hire him again.
Pat fixed our leaking box gutter and ended up needing to replace a significant amount of rotted wood. He completed everything in a timely manner in spite of multiple issues revealing themselves throughout the job. He communicated throughout and we could t be happier with his work. We will definitely hire him again.
I would recommend Jon to anyone. He is easy to work with and gives you options depending on what you want done. His pricing is competitive and he does what he says he will do. Jon installed new gutters with gutter guard which gave my house a face lift. I'm amazed at how much better my house looks. Very professional job and no more cleaning out my gutters!!!! Thanks Jon!
George was able to look at the project and leave a quote in the mailbox. He followed up with a call to schedule a meeting time and was actually able to install the gutters at that time. He was friendly and professional. He installed the gutters and gutter guards and cleaned up as if no one had been working. I highly recommend his worked based on communication and cost. Very fair.
We hired Ohio Roofing Solutions to install a new roof. They finished the project in one day. It was a great value and quality work. Thanks Schorr Family
I won't sugarcoat my experience with Summit Building & Roofing Co. I submitted a request for quote, these guys were first to contact me, first out to quote, fair priced and were able to complete the job before anyone else. We had a couple small hiccups along the way with weather/timing but these guys were flexible to restart the job. Jason, the owner even came out to check out the job and recommend opportunities to make our place look better at a fair price without being pushy. Don't call anyone else for your gutter, trim/paint work.
Complete gutter installation. Job well done.
ACI added siding, replaced gutters, and did roof repair on a rental property. They were very communicative, honest, and took pains to keep prices fair. Highly recommended.
Prime Construction and Restoration replaced my roof and gutters after a tree fell on it. They did the work 3 months sooner than other companies wanted to, and they handled all the insurance paperwork. He explained everything in Plain English and got permission from the insurance company to pay for all the damage not spotted by the insurance adjuster and/or to bring the roof up to date with newer building codes. The quality of the work was great and the service was excellent. I highly recommend Prime Construction and Restoration for your roofing needs.
Gutter cleaning went well and also purchased installed gutter guards.
Tim (owner) came out and gave us quotes on 2 separate occasions about a year apart for a roof replacement and for gutters/gutter guards/soffit/fascia replacement. 1st experience: Tim agreed to come out and give us a quote. I stated that someone would be at the house. My wife met Tim, who stated, “Oh, your husband isn’t here? How am I supposed to give you a quote and discuss the job when he’s not here?” The quote was not accepted (more on this later). 2nd experience: Tim sent me a request on Thumbtack to come out and give me a quote. I did not remember that he had been out previously to give us a quote on the roof. Upon arriving to our house, the first thing that he said was that he had been to our house before and if he had known, he wouldn’t have had to come out to measure for gutters. He stated this fact a few times throughout the conversation, which I responded with an apology each time as I truly did feel bad that he had to drive out to our house since he wouldn’t have had to if he had known he had been here before. Tim also stated that I had never responded to his quote from the roofing job. I apologized for this as well and stated that I did not remember receiving a quote. I acknowledged and apologized for not getting back to him as the quote must have been buried in my email. We discussed the job, and I stated that we wanted to change the color of the soffit and fascia to white. Tim asked immediately if we were sure that we wanted that color as it wouldn’t look good on the house. I stated that yes, we had decided on white because we were eventually going to replace the siding on the house. Tim then said, “Are you sure? It’s going to stick out like a sore thumb if you do white.” I stated again, that yes, white is the color we wanted. After talking about the job for a few more minutes, Tim asked that if he gave me a ballpark offer would we be willing to shake on it and agree to have him do the job, then he could come back with a more detailed quote. I informed him that I was looking at other contractors for the job and would be getting quotes from them for the next few weeks. I asked him to send me a quote and I’d get back to him in the next few weeks and let him know if we’d be accepting his offer or not. He then stated, “Well I would hope you’d give me the business since I’ve been out here twice already.” I gave him my contact information and he left. Please keep in mind that for the entire interaction, Tim’s attitude was not pleasant and it really felt like he was trying to guilt me by bringing up the fact that he had been to my house twice and tried to make me feel bad. Later that evening, he messaged me asking for my last name and email address which I had previously provided. He messaged me again the next day telling me he had emailed me the quote and asked if I had received it. I had not. I verified the email address with him, again, and he said that he had the email wrong and had resent the quote. I reviewed the quote and noticed it did not have the gutter guards that we had previously discussed on the quote, so I messaged Tim and asked for a revised quote. The quote came in at about $1,200 above competing quotes from other businesses. That was about 2 weeks ago. Today, I received a call and voicemail from Tim asking if I had any thoughts on the quote and if we could move forward with the job. As I was still evaluating contractors and getting quotes from additional businesses, I had not had the chance to discuss with Tim as I did not have all the quotes in to compare prices, so that’s why I had not contacted him. I also had stated when we first met that it would be a few weeks before I would have an answer. Since I was at work, I texted Tim back the following message (I have also attached a screenshot for proof) Me: Hey Tim, this is Trevor. Sorry I missed your call I am at work currently. Also apologize for not getting back to you but I’ve had contractors giving me quotes up til this week. Unfortunately, we have decided to go with someone else as they were $1200 below your quote. Thank you for your time. Tim: Lol. I see Please don’t call me again for quotes. Good luck to you! I then wrote out a reply and sent it, but upon sending the text I realized that Tim had blocked my phone number as the text did not go through. Due to this, I have decided to put my response to the business owner in this review. My response to the business owner: “And that kind of attitude is part of why you didn’t get my business. Just because you didn't get my business doesn't give you a right to be rude. Maybe price your quotes competitively and not be rude and have an attitude when you come out to give quotes (comment multiple times about how you've already been out to give a quote and try and make me feel bad, comment on how bad of a color choice we were making, comment on how we should give you your business since you've been out twice, etc). Also, maybe remember next time and don't submit a bid on Thumbtack if you don't want to come give me a quote. Also, here are a couple more "pro tips" for you since you don't seem to know how to relate with customers and get their business: 1. Don't bug people for an answer on a quote when they clearly state they'll get back to you in a few weeks due to the fact they are having multiple people look at a job 2. Get information right the first time, it shows attention to detail. Don't misspell customer names (name was misspelled on quote), forget to put information on a quote, forget the email address, etc. Maybe if you kept accurate records, you would’ve remembered that you’d been out to give a quote. It’s not the customers responsibility to remember the multiple contractors that have given quotes. 3. Be respectful to your customers. Don't make comments saying things like "oh your husband isn't here? How am I supposed to give you a quote when he's not here to discuss the job" (referring to your comments made to my wife when you gave us the quote for our roof.) 4. Don't intentionally try and make people feel bad and act entitled to business because you had to go out of your way for a customer (see reference to comments on the trip you made above) 5. Don’t comment on customer choices in a negative way unless they ask you for advice on the subject 6. Know your market. If you want to be competitive, then give quotes that are such. Giving a $1k+ offer above other quotes usually signifies to a customer that there’s no use in negotiating if you’re coming in that high. 7. Constantly work to improve your relationship with customers after the fact. I did some research a few weeks ago on BBB and saw the one ongoing issue you have with a customer and you’re fighting pretty hard against what the customer is saying instead of taking full responsibility for a job that you were contracted to do. Owning up to something, even if it's not your fault, would look so much better to prospective customers. Just some thoughts that come to mind, but what do I know. Good luck with your business, you’ll need it.” --End Response-- I can not speak to Tim’s workmanship, and I will not attempt to, there are other reviews for that. I personally did not have a pleasant experience with him and I wanted to put all of the details out there. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for someone who is professional and deals with customers the right way.
I had a great experience with Darrin of Xclusive Home. He was very responsive, friendly and most importantly did great work! He installed seamless gutters on the house and detached garage, a mosaic tile kitchen back splash, quarter rounding throughout the house and caulked and sealed the bath and exteriors...all within a week! Darrin is a pleasure to work with and offers competitive pricing, I highly recommend Xclusive Home!
KNOC painted my garage and installed new gutter downspouts. They were very efficient, fair, and reliable. Overall a very positive experience!
The company responded quickly to my request and I had an appointment the next day. The salesman (Justin) was professional and down to earth, answering my questions and reassuring me the job would be done properly. Two days later the crew showed up and the leader (Chris) was very attentive to details and the job was completed to my satisfaction with in a few hours. They even helped my elderly neighbor with a small problem at no charge. My new gutters and downspouts look great and were done for a very reasonable price. I highly recommend this company and will use them again in the future.
Brian was attentive, responsive and professional with his work. He gave us proper reassurance about our current system and we are looking forward to working with him again on our gutter cleaning/maintenance issues.
I recently bought a house that had a partial privacy fence, a partial picket fence and a partial chain link fence. I wanted to complete the privacy fence around the whole back yard. I also had a section of the rear overhang of the rear fascia and gutter on the house that had come loose and needed to be repaired and re-hung. I wanted this work to be done as soon as possible. I was very happy to find out that Brian and his company could do all this work in the middle of winter. Brian and his crew were out very soon and finished all the work in one day. They cleaned everything up and the work is beautiful. I am very pleased. I like the fact that this is a family business, and Brian was present during the whole time. I am also having Brian and his crew come back in the spring for painting and power washing. I have found a great contractor and will use them for other future jobs as well I am sure.
J&P Restoration did a great job with my siding and gutter job. Thanks to the supervisor who managed the project it was stress free. They did everything they said that they'd do and did it all within our budget. The whole job was very easy to deal with especially with as big of a project as it was. The whole team was very polite and courteous and everything was done right on schedule. We planned to have some hiccups along the way but not with them. I'm very pleased with the outcome and our home looks wonderful. They even helped me and my husband pick out the colors that would best suite our trim and shutters so everything would complement each other. I will definitely be calling J&P Restoration for our roofing project next.
Jeff was very professional. He took care of everything. All I had to do was call in a claim with my insurance, and then he met with them and was able to get me a whole new roof, new siding, and new gutters. My house looks so much better now, and my only expense was my deductible. Thanks Jeff!! I would recommend him to my friends.
Chris arrived on time and went straight to work. We were having new gutters installed along with a gutter-guard product to prevent leaves and debris from clogging up the new gutters. Everything finally flows as it should and looks great. They left the outside very clean which is important to us. I would recommend Gutter King to anybody looking for a great job at a very fair price and completed even faster. Thx again to Chris and the crew! Scott R.
I'm relieved I chose Feazel for this project. Once the crew pulled the window out, we immediately saw the framing had to be reinforced. It wasn't any type of upsell, I saw the issues with my own eyes. I thought I'd have to call a framing company then figure out how to cover the window hole since we could not safely put the window back in. It turns out the installer worked as a framer for years. He was able do all the framing then install the new window same day. On top of this lucky break, the new window and siding matched my 10+ year old windows and siding perfectly. The icing on the cake was that the price adjustment for cutting, measuring and installing the 5 8ft 2x4's and sheet of drywall was minimal. They could have skyrocketed the price on me because I had no other option. However, they were honest, fair and professional during the whole fiasco. They've exceeded my expectations and I'll absolutely use them again in the future. They also showed up on time, used tarps throughout the house and even vacuumed everywhere they walked once they were done. The house was cleaner than when they started.
