I worked with Will when I was about 11 or 12 years old. He was my first martial arts teacher I ever had and he was fantastic! To this day I still use everything he taught me and have built off of it! He helped me become who I am today and with out him I would be where I am in life. With the skills he taught me, I was able to become stronger everyday. I was able to use what I learned from him to take myself all the way to nationals for martial arts and win. He taught me a lot in martial arts. He taught me for about 1/2 of a year until he had to move. He taught me a lot in that time period. He was always very patient with me even when I wasn't doing the best or was being the best student. He never have up on my and that always impressed me and stood out to me. In all honesty I don't see in any way that he could improve. He was very good teacher and I learned a lot from him

I believe I was one of Will's first students and while my time with him was short, he struck me as a knowledgeable and easy to work with instructor. His rapport with men, women, and children is equal and anyone should be honored to learn from him.

Will was and is the best coach that I have had throughout my martiaal arts life. He was always patient and very good at teaching correct form.. the only prblem I had us when he had to move we miss and love to train with him again.

Will is no doubt a top notch instructor. From my personal experience with him, I can say with confidence that he is the man to go to for anything related to self defense. I consider him the best in the business as his knowledge is priceless. The biggest thing that holds me back from continuing my training with him is me being in school and living at home without a job.

Will was an excellent instructor and so attentive to all of my needs! He was patient and kind, and so knowledgable of this sport. I felt confident in my abilities after each session, and Will always followed up to make sure I understood everything from our previous session before moving on. I highly recommend Will!

What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Check out the school you are thinking of joining. Go watch a class. Look at how the instructors interact with the students, and see if what they are teaching is something you believe to be effective. Look for aliveness in their drills/training. Real self defense training will have elements of combative training - but with safety in mind! If people are getting hurt, look for another place. Get a feel for how the students interact with each other - are they friendly and helpful? Finally, find out about cost. Many martial art places charge too much, or have absurd contracts. Don't sign a contract. You'll be locked in even if you don't like the place, and often, places like that use contracts for that reason.
