I used Extra Mile BBQ for a birthday party and they did an amazing job. I had smoked brisket, chicken and pork. I am still getting texts and calls days later that it was the best smoked meat any one has had. I would recommend them for any party. Awesome food!

I have used Extra Mile BQ quite a few times with varied menus. The entrees have always been great, and the sides are great. Always on time, with a great presentation. I realized I can not cook this type of food for what they charge. I would highly recommended using them for any size event.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I like to meet with a potential customer and let them sample some of the food that they are interested in. We then discuss details of the event and the logistics.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

I started cooking when I was 9 years old when my mother died. My father taught me and my brother to cook so we could prepare meals for him during the summer as he ran a gas station/garage across the street from our house. I started cooking for partys where I worked and for friends. Eventually people started asking me to cater their party. Prior to Thumbtack all my business was word of mouth. I decided to get into competition BBQ in 2009 and formed Extra Mile BBQ in 2011.
