I can’t say enough good things about Jerry and Shauna. They come in with a game plan, clean up after the days work, understand the stress that comes with construction. They work hard to get the job done and done right. We are very happy with what they’ve achieve for our house. They created 2 new closets in an attic space. Helped update our basement entry. Took out some walls , created a bathroom and installed floors in a couple different areas of our home. *Update: I still stand by with what I said above but removing a star. Make sure you have EVERYTHING written down in the initial contract. Even the smallest things that finish a project. Even if you agree to it in person, make sure it is written down in the initial contract. They will charge extra to complete those tasks that are not on the initial contract and not follow through on their word to complete it. Even if agreed in person.

Details: Add new bathroom • Full remodel of bathroom • Fix bathroom tiles or flooring • Fix bathroom cabinets or fixtures • Install bathroom tiles or flooring • Install bathroom cabinets or fixtures • Expand the bathroom • Update style • Guest bath • Home

We really appreciate the reference. As far as EVERYTHING being written down in the contract does include things that the customer adds after wards. Customers usually do add things which be considered an extra, in materials and labor. We discount our prices to help all customers to be able to get what they want in the end.The only thing not completed on this was hanging a mirror which we did not charge for but could not hang because the mirror had no hardware on the back. We go out of way to help each customer out in many ways. That update was very disappointing.😊

Working with Jerry was an absolute pleasure!! After he did a gorgeous master bathroom remodel we wanted him to do our 2nd story guest bathroom! This included moving the laundry room to guest bath upstairs. It is a beautiful bathroom/laundry room and he built the shelving for the washer and dryer that made the entire room look stunning! We then decided to hire him to build an pergola/shade structure and privacy screen to our back patio. His attention to detail and craftmanship is out of this world! His honest, professional opinion and design advice to our questions was very much appreciated, as he is a master of all trades! We are grateful for his hard work & would definitely recommend him to anyone looking!

Details: Full remodel of bathroom • Update style • Replace fixtures • Fix other damage (mold, termites) • Master bath • Home

Absolutely recommend! Jerry always reaches for the stars! His work is as perfect as he can make it - in his words “trying to be perfect in an imperfect world”. The work he did for me included a remodel on an existing bathroom, building/creating a second master bath, remodeling the kitchen, painting and hanging new doors, redoing the laundry room floor, painting all the rooms, building a linen closet, putting crown molding in the living room and kitchen, building shelves and a cap for the half wall between the living room and kitchen. He also put in a drain in front of the garage, helped the electrician, and made a very unattractive large crack in the living room ceiling disappear. Jerry is creative, intelligent, and friendly. You won’t be disappointed if he decides to take on your job. Btw....you can trust this guy with your life!

Details: Multiple room remodel • Kitchen • Bathroom • Closet • Ranch • No existing plans, but have a good idea of what I want • No, the project is not covered by an insurance claim • As soon as possible

We hired Jerry to completely a remote home remodel for us. We were in Chicago while Jerry was remodeling our home in Cincinnati- not an easy task, but he did an excellent job. His quote was more reasonable than others', and we also liked the fact that he only takes one job at a time (finishes start to end before taking on a new one.) He retiled our bathrooms, installed new vanities, new tub, and new fixtures, replaced granite countertops with quartz, painted, installed a new backsplash, added railings to our staircase, installed new light fixtures.. just to name a few. We highly recommend him and would hire him for more jobs in a heartbeat.

We had a water leak in the kitchen that ended creating a project that included: removing an old range, cutting some cabinets to fit the new range, patching, painting and wall papering. After no luck with reliability with another contractor, we tried Thumbtack and found Jerry. What a blessing in disguise that the others were flakes- he has been terrific! If you read other reviews and think, "This guy is too good to be true," don't worry; he isn't! He is just a rare breed! Where to start....first, he was very fair and reasonable on the price. Apparently there is an industry standard pricing guide that set process high (hence the sticker shock with everyone else). If he feels that it is unreasonable, he works down from there. His rate was reasonable enough that we could add in changing the title on our backsplash. But this does NOT mean quality is sacrificed. He is more than experienced and it shows. He is extremely neat (never leaves a mess), and his work is careful. A true generalist, he has ended up helping us with other problems that ironically occurred while he was here. I asked him to remove the sink for me so that I could apply some stone finishing to our counters, and he saw that our wiring for our disposal and dishwasher was not up to code (and it wasn't!). He fixed that. Our basement had water in it after rain one night; he helped up trouble shoot where the leak was coming from (it was from a crazy odd place, but he helped our insurance adjuster to find the leak! Our adjuster liked him too, btw). He also fixed a support on our porch that was cracking. From drywall to roofs, he is a household renaissance man. He really went beyond the call of duty for us, and was never, ever "pushy". To top it off, he is very kind, friendly and honest. A couple of days he needed an extra set of hands and brought a couple of workers with him, who were also neat, skilled and polite. I could go on but you get the picture! ;-) My father was extremely handy this way and always did anything around the house with skill, care and integrity. I didn't know anyone else was cut from the same cloth until we met Jerry. If you are lucky enough to grab him, do so.
