I have been taking guitar lessons from Mark for 4 years. Mark is a very patient teacher who takes the time to get to know his students and select music he thinks they will enjoy learning. He also allows his students to choose music they want to learn to play and takes different approaches to make playing easier. I would recommend Mark to anyone who wants to learn guitar, or just wants to brush up on their skills.

Ive been taking guitar lessons with Kyle now for about 8-9 months and its been great. Highly recommend doing it if your on the fence. I started learning guitar on nothing more than a whim and now I've progressed beyond what i though i would be at this point. Kyle is flexible at catering to what ever music style you are familiar with or like it just so happens we have similar taste so that was an added bonus.

My 12 year old son David has been taking weekly guitar lessons with Tom for the past 15 months. During this time I've seen David grow by leaps-and-bounds both as an individual and as a guitar player. Tom's teaching style is very motivating. He is both gentle and firm, very encouraging, highly skilled, and extremely passionate about music. His love of music is contagious, and he is very driven to provide my son with a rewarding/fulfilling experience. I've enjoyed watching my son's confidence grow with his playing abilities, as he's risen to meet Tom's well chosen challenges. I would highly recommend lessons with Tom to anyone wishing to grow as a musician.

Guitar lessons with Sam are the highlight of my week! Sam's deep passion for music is infectious in his lessons. He has the special gift of helping his students feel the same excitement he feels about music. As his student, I felt his support from the first note I played on guitar. He is one of the most positive people I have ever met and helps me embrace the challenges of learning a new instrument, rather than fear them. He breaks down concepts so that they are easy to understand and makes learning guitar extremely fun. When I leave a lesson with Sam, I am inspired to practice for hours, not because he asked me to, but because of the excitement he passed on to me in our lessons. I feel so lucky to have him as my teacher and do not want to imagine studying with anyone else!! (In addition to being an incredible music educator, Sam is also an amazing performer. Watching him play at concerts further inspires his students to want to practice. He is the real deal and carries out what he teaches in his own life. He is a great role model.)

My daughter has been taking saxaphone lessons from Scott this past year. She loves to go to the lessons as Scott mixes things up to keep it encouraging. Works very well with children and keeps me informed of how things are progressing.

About

I'm very patient and am good with kids.

About

Having taught myself guitar and basic music theory, I know how to begin the journey to learning music in simple ways. My basic and patient approach makes my service great for children and beginners. My love for music and teaching have led me to lead a band for a local ministry for the last two years and teach guitar, base guitar, and the basics in music. I am a capable teacher of children as I have worked with children for the last five years. I am also capable in teaching songwriting and work with basic jazz, rock, and hip-hop themes.

About

I specialize in teaching beginner to intermediate guitar for all ages. From finger strengthening exercises to ear training, my method can shape the beginner/intermediate player into a chord and melody identifier, and musical improviser. Basic music theory and covering musical stylings of interest are recommended as a part of my program which we will do together.

I take interest in your success and offer help via Skype in addition to your lesson time when I'm available.

About

I offer guitar lessons to kids who are either just picking up a guitar, or who have been playing for a little while, but need direction in order to advance. I love working with kids of any age and showing them how rewarding this instrument can be! As I have matured as a musician, I have learned that there are three areas one must master as a guitarist. 1) Technique- HOW to play mechanically 2) Theory- WHAT to play. The science of music. 3) Composition- YOUR music. What makes your playing different from everyone else? It is my goal to show kids how to progress in each of these three areas.
