Introduction: We train accordingly to a persons unique physiology. It is not a boot camp or a extreme fitness workout. It is not a one-size-fits all program. Science backs up what we do! Maryellen( owner) and her husband (Jack Grogan) attend on an average 5-8 Medical conferences a year, keeping up with the newest research. We specialize in the unique needs of the 40+ female . We help them understand their unique exercise needs based on their ability to adapt to the stress of exercise and their changing hormones levels. The main difference is that our clients see Maryellen's husband Jack Grogan for their nutritional needs. He is a certified Nutritionist practicing for the past 40 years. There isn't a better team in the Northwest Ohio area! Fitness and health is the passion of our trainers. We take this passion to the next level by changing the lives of our clients! We are the professionals that help people achieve their goals of health and fitness. It is always fun and challenging.

I can't begin to express my gratitude to Maryellen Grogan for the positive impact she has had on my life & my health! 6 years ago, I shattered my dominant arm & elbow. I had 5 surgeries & gained a lot of weight. She worked out an exercise program around my limitations. Their partnership with Jack Grogan, B.Ed, C.N ,is invaluable to address your nutritional & fitness needs. I did everything Maryellen & Jack suggested & lost 85 pounds. Maryellen is fantastic! She responded to my inquiry and arranged our first appointment very quickly. She spent nearly 2 hours with me explaining what she does & how she can help me meet my goals. She's extremely knowledgeable and can explain the science behind exercises and nutrition in very understandable terms. I'm looking forward to working with her & her team.

Strength training at it's best! Mary Ellen continually educates herself and her staff on the latest training techniques and nutritional needs and that is all passed on to the clients at Positively Fit. Promoting an overall healthy lifestyle is what it's all about at this gym. I've been a client for 8 years and counting.....

Best in the area and I mean BEST. Always educating herself on the latest methodologies to maximize results for each person. Where else can you go and the trainer says work out less- and you end up stronger, leaner and more healthy. It is always cutting edge and no cookie cutter work-outs with her !
