FAQs
- What types of customers have you worked with?
We have two main types of jobs - jobs that provide information (such as construction photos that show progression at regular intervals or real estate photos that show the location of a property and its surrounding amenities or features) and jobs that we call "beauty shots" - photos that show a dramatic view of a subject such as a family farm, a business, a marquee project, or a landmark that has some personal meaning for the client. These photos are often displayed in board rooms, conference rooms, executive offices, or homes for years and years. We take great care to deliver the best possible images no matter what type of job we have.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We have re-shot several sites for people who hired the cheapest aerial photographer they could find or hired a professional photographer who did aerials "on the side." Don't make either of those mistakes! Hire a full-time, professional aerial photographer. As with any other product or service, you get the service and quality you pay for.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
I cannot emphasize it enough - aerial photography is more than taking pictures from the air. Not every photographer is equipped for it. Not every photographer has the right skills for it. There are a lot of "pilots with cameras" out there - don't bother using them to save a few bucks. There IS a difference between us and them (and the price difference is not going to be huge...).
