Chef Dominick exceeded my expectations! He took my menu ideas to the next level and provided several thoughtful add-ons that made dinner for our guests delicious and memorable. Greg was very easy to work with throughout the process. He had a very tough crowd to please. I wanted to do something special for everyone at NorthPointe and I wanted to make sure that our Culinary team did not need to do anything and Greg made sure of that. The turkey was very good, very moist and well seasoned. I heard that the cranberry sauce was very good as well. Overall we were pleased with our experience and Greg and his team did very well.
In addition to providing great service and food, the chef solved an unrelated issue with my event. I'm very grateful.
A Catered Affair did a wonderful job catering my pharmaceutical event in Indianapolis. They had no access to a kitchen and the food was perfect......even after the 2.5hour drive from Cincinnati. They set everything up for me and I did not have to do a thing. Everything was supplied (plates, plastic ware, drinks, ice, cups, warming dishes, etc). Made my life so easy!!!

The best recommendation I can give is that I will hire Leland again! He prepared my family Christmas dinner for 17 people and the rave reviews are still coming in. "The best Christmas dinner yet." The beef tenderloin was juicy and cooked to medium rare as I requested. The garlic mashed potatoes were flavorful and truly mashed potatoes like I've never tasted anywhere else. The green beans almandine were cooked tender but still crisp. Chocolate Lava Cakes for dessert, which are my family's favorite, were incredible. He responded to my search for a chef on Thumbtack quickly and followed up promptly on any questions I had before and after I hired him. The day of my family Christmas, he arrived right on time, prepared this wonderful meal, and cleaned up the kitchen. In the past, I spent the afternoon in the kitchen cooking and the evening washing pots and pans and dishes. But this year, I wanted a chef to prepare the meal so I could be with my family. I recommend others do the same so you can enjoy your family, friends, and parties. It is well worth it. And Leland Cummings is the Chef to do it.
My first time using this site and was a lill iffy of putting the outcome of my sons graduation party in someone else's hands; BUT was blown away by Simply Sweets level of expertise! Rachels acute attention to detail, creative prowess in the kitchen, and warm and bubbly energy really put me at ease with my event. She worked with me prior to the big day to piece together a fun relaxed menu that even had some challenges(my sons vegan friends) but really hit a home run with ALL the dishes. Everyone, and i mean EVERYONE absolutely loved the scrumptious assortment of food that we served, from appetizers, main dishes, and even desert! It was one less thing i had to worry about while celebrating my sons High School Graduation. Highly recommend! and will certainly use for my husbands 50th coming up ;)
I catered with Horchata for my WIfe's 40th surprise party. Food was amazing and we even had left for couple of days. The chef was punctual and even made Margaritas for the party with no extra charge. Strongly recommend Horchata. Every one loved the food/setup. If you are looking for a hassle free experience with awesome food, Horchata is the way to go...
