- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My rate is $40 an hour with an hour minimum. I prepare customized lessons in advance, according to each student's needs. I do not charge extra if the session runs a little overtime.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I start with one basic grammar topic so the student can actually start speaking right away.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in linguistics with a major in Spanish. I attended the University of Guadalajara for 5 months as part of a special language immersion program. I have also traveled extensively in Mexico, Ecuador, and Spain. I am an on-call substitue Spanish teacher in the public school system.
