- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing isn't complicated... but it is different for almost every single client depending on how large of band or choir I'm arranging for and how long and varied the song and arrangement may be...
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I don't really have an "average" job. Since all my work is custom, I do whatever is needed for the client. I do a lot of work for college pep and power bands as well as show choirs and musicals.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Don't be afraid to ask question or for references. Know what key signature you need and know your musicians instrument ranges. (ie: Can you're trumpet player hit that high "C" above the staff? Does your bass player play a 5 string bass, allowing him to hit lower notes?) Know what your time frame is for completion of the project.
