Sharon was contracted by our company initially to translate the information displayed to our customers accessing products and assets from our hardware devices as well as to translate the information displayed to our customers who administer and manage those devices, products and assets through our Web UI interfaces. These were highly technical translation projects requiring not only strong technical and communication skills on Sharon's part to understand the requirements and design of our solutions, but also strong analytical and problem solving skills as she became a key member of our team to identify and diagnose possible bugs in the firmware and software which she was translating and then actively testing the Spanish translations in our deployed solutions. In addition to the software and firmware translation projects, Sharon exceeded expectations by ensuring that word choices for critical concepts were consistently documented in reusable project dictionaries and applied across all solution areas including, software and firmware, and technical and user documentation that accompany our solutions. She likewise ensured that the translations would be acceptable throughout geographically dispersed Latino regions including, South America, Central America, Puerto Rico and Caribbean islands, and Europe. This is NOT trivial. Sharon was further contracted by our company to translate sales and marketing collateral, case studies, and presentations for our solutions along with translating the corporate Web page for all of our solutions. Her unique mix of technical and business talents contributed significantly to our successful deployments of company solutions into Spanish-speaking regions worldwide. Sharon brings more than a casual approach to each translation project and applies strong personal motivation to ensure consistency across all of our company translation projects. She recognizes the difference between a 'global company' which considers the cultural mores and influences within countries, and a company who simply has a 'presence globally' which continues to push the cultural mores and influences of the 'host' company into countries. We found this insight to be particularly poignant and valuable as we were opening up new markets for our solutions where skills in assessing cultural expressions and translating intent in a way that is acceptable to the population you are addressing becomes even more important. As the hiring manager who oversaw most of the work that Sharon performed for our company, I give her my strongest endorsement!

My name is James Lampe and I have just recently graduated from Wright State University with a Bachelor's Degree in English. Since graduation, I have had articles published for Substream Music Press (a magazine carried by Barnes and Noble and Borders) and I have worked as a freelance copy editor for several companies. I am trained in professional writing and journalism, and I am very competent with Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, and Adobe InDesign. I am available for any freelance writing or editing. A client once said my writing was "like a breath of fresh air." I can think of no better compliment. The market is fat with thousands of copywriters who want your business. The truth is, it's very tough to find the right combination of talent and work ethic. Whether you need 20 pages of web content, a comprehensive white paper, or just a gripping turn of phrase, you need it done well -- ready to publish, ready to send to clients, ready to start working for you NOW. And you'd prefer a writer who is professional, friendly, and easy to work with. Sound about right? If so, let's talk. I'm not a newbie. I'm a "been there, done that" copywriter and web specialist with 8+ years experience providing written content for online and print mediums. Before launching my freelance business, I spent 5 years as an E-Commerce Content Manager for two major luxury retail websites, where I provided and edited web copy for product descriptions, category pages, editorial articles, and more. Prior to that, I worked as a Technical Writer for a software company, where I created end-user documentation, newsletters, and marketing materials. Now, I'm leveraging my unique mix of skills to provide companies like yours with the kind of content that makes customers sit up and take notice. Will you find writers who are cheaper or faster than me? Of course. But I'll do everything I can -- thorough research and discovery, careful crafting of words, and unlimited revisions -- to be the best. If you need it, I can write it. You've come to the right place for: - Product descriptions for e-commerce websites and catalogs - Web copy for Home pages, About Us pages, and category pages - Blogs, unique articles, reviews, and editorial content - Comprehensive white papers - SEO (search engine optimization) services, including meta titles, meta keywords, and meta descriptions - Newsletters and marketing materials Don't see what you need on this list? Contact me with your project needs and we'll talk.
