FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have 3 certifications: An NSCA CPT, a CrossFit Level 1, and an APK Level 2.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
People have been telling me I should be a trainer my whole life, but I never took them seriously until I looked into it one day. I had always thought of trainers as fancy rep counters or just someone to say "keep it up!", but properly certified trainers can be so much more. Add on wellness coaching and BOOM... I could change lives and really make a difference. After I realized that I signed up for exercise science courses at LCCC. The rest is history.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Boy howdy! I've trained them all! Clients with anxiety and depression. Clients with obesity, asthma, and diabetes. Clients with Parkinson's, cerebral palsy, and arthritis. Clients with with hip, knee, and shoulder replacements. Clients with post-rehab back, knee, and shoulder injuries. Clients who need to pass police, military, or fire physical tests. Clients with basketball, lacrosse, and soccer performance goals. Client's kids who hate sports, but need a fitness they enjoy. Clients with strength, flexibility, and endurance goals. But mostly... People who want to look better, feel better, and live a better life. But could use some instruction, accountability, and motivation. 🗻✨ Preferred Client: The Never Been Fit Injured People Anxious People Older People People Who Have All But Given Up
