Really cared about being sure we were confident in working with our dog. Great trainers!!
We have a puppy that we were struggling with potty training and excessive barking. In fact, for the several months that we had him, I somehow managed to train him to go inside the house - rather than outside. It was stressful on everyone. Poor dog couldn't understand what I wanted, humans were frustrated. We had to go out of town and decided to use that time to send him to a dog trainer for help. Jennifer had him for a little over 2 weeks, training him in her home. When he came back he was about 75% of the way trained to potty outside. We still have accidents, but it was an immense improvement and got us on the right track. Jennifer also worked with his barking. She was able to get him to the point where if she said 'quiet' he would stop barking immediately. That being said, he doesn't always do that for us... but it is better than before and a work in progress. Basically, she took a dog that we loved, but were beginning to think that we'd made a huge mistake in getting and helped us realize his potential. We still have work to do - but Jennifer has been very helpful in answering questions and giving advice.
After one session with Kerry, I was amazed how much more control I have had with my dogs. I have two Great Danes, and they can be a little unruly sometimes, to say the least. Recently, one of them has had a couple aggression issues towards other dogs when we go for walks, to the park, etc. Kerry gave me the tools to manage her nervous aggression towards other dogs she perceived as threats. With showing my dogs that I am a leader and making myself more aware of my body language, I am able to put them at ease that I am the one in control whenever we leave the house. Half the battle is making sure you and your dogs are calm and you're the one leading them, and patience is key. Kerry also showed me how to handle my dog when she does get into an aggressive area and how to handle her so she doesn't get hurt, and I don't get hurt. I have done other training techniques with my dogs and other trainers that were not getting the results that I have seen Kerry get within minutes of walking into our house! I would highly recommend Kerry for owners who are really interested in understanding their dogs and understanding their roles in their dogs lives.
Very good trainer. My dog / puppy was biting she showed me why was needed to stop this behavior. It did work. Very personable and makes you feel comfortable. Good price also. Well worth your money. This is my baby that she has helped
Robin is truly one of the very best trainers. She is thorough in her approach to training the dog and teaching the owner the correct way to work with their dogs training. Since Robin started working with us to train our Little Missy (a 9 year old Dachshund) we have noticed a huge change in her behavior. She is an outstanding trainer and we would highly recommend her.
Wonderful group of people to work with my dogs. Managed to get my aggressive little dog to be friendly and responsive! My nervous dog learned to like other dogs and people. Thank you!
My husband and I got our Border Collie (Isis) when he was 8 weeks old. We started training classes with Cindy soon after. Isis is almost 10 years old now.over those nine plus years we went through basic, Intermediate, clicker, canine good citizen, agility, o-gility...pretty much everything Cindy offers. The classes are fun and informative, a great bonding experience for you and your dog. Once we ran out of classes we just kept going back. Cindy is an excellent teacher and trainer. You will learn just as much as your dog if not more. Isis loves going to "school" as we call it. Just saying the word "school" to him makes his ears perk up then he dashes to the back door ready to go. Cindy makes dog training (school) something to look forward to every week. Thanks Cindy.
Barb's training was excellent and very easy for new dog trainers/owners. She makes every exercise fun, easy to understand (so you can practice at home, of course), relevant to every day life for you and your dog, and even has days where she will give you tips for nutrition, nail clippings, and pictures! She covered the basics: sit, down, stay, come, etc, as well as more advanced tricks, like "leave it" "watch me" and showed us how her dog learned to skateboard! I was beyond pleased with her training and services. She always kept me in the loop for potential opportunities for my dog's growth and happiness via Facebook articles and other links, texts or phone calls! Barb is great, and her services are even better! I highly recommend her!
I have been using Jeff as my main trainer for over a year. My dog is off the charts nice and smart. We owe it to him! He is unbelievably nice and uses only positive training methods. My dog understands and responds to over 150 commands.(prob. more) Her name is Lilly and she is a 13 month old West Highland Terrier. He is well worth every penny and then some. Lilly literally follows every command we give her. She is also a certified service dog and TDI therapy dog. She visits nursing a home at least once a month.
Jennifer watched and trained my dog and did an excellent job with her I would highly recommend her, she is excellent with dogs.
Dave is an amazing dog trainer! My dog learned a new set of skills, I learned how to understand my dog, and it was all because of Dave's kind and patient demeanor!
Kim Glover the trainer is very personable to work with she listens to your concerns and is very helpful .She gives you tools to practice with for your dog and she also is very nice and friendly with your dog.
Tina was great and worked the dog and us hard. we all learned a lot .
Very informative session. She gave very clear step by step instructions as to how to train my dog to be better on the leash and when encountering strangers, and also the reasons behind the doggie psychology, too. I also really liked the action plan she sent us a few days later with first priority training and then the steps to do from there. Reading about dog training is sometimes very theoretical, and it's nice to have an expert assess what's going on exactly with your specific dog.
Sissie is a wonderful person and excellent dog trainer. She's helping me get over some fears I have with multiple puppies and teaching me how to be the alfa along with training my puppies.
Really nice will go beyond what her job is pickedup Samson so he can be exposed to new place I don't drive to to many places so jean offered I am so thankful to have her to help me with my dog he is not aggressive but really reactive to anything new
Christy has been invaluable in helping me with my dog training- from puppy obedience to Canine Good Citizen and to issues which have arisen in learning and competing on agility courses. She advocates a very kind and effective approach to training.
Awesome dog trainer and pet sitter. Highly recommend!!
Kelly does a great job with our dog, Maria. Maria doesn't get along with just anyone but loves Kelly!
Marie-Josee is a very accessible and knowledgable dog trainer. I've been working with her for about 4 years. She provides practical instruction. She manages expectations about what you and your dog will be able to do and acknowledges when milestones have been reached. Working with Marie-Josee, I've been able to get my challenging pup to do things I'd never thought he'd be able to do, like playing nice with other dogs. Thanks, Marie-Josee!
I have military experience with training dogs. I was a K-9 handler and trainer. I can reteach and fix aggression problems with your dog(s). I also teach obedience, house training and general behavior problems with puppies and adults. I will also teach the owner the correct ways on handling their dogs.
