I have been looking all over for a math tutor for my daughter. Guljeet responded and agreed to come to the city in which we live. My daughter was very impressed and looks forward to working with Guljeeet. Also very affordable.
Where to begin....utilizing a tutor wasn't on our minds for the standardized tests for college. Fortunately my daughter didnt fall into a category that we felt it would be necessary. However, when she took her first pass at the SAT her junior year in high school, she found timing her responses on this test properly and recalling her math from years prior were holding her back from her potential. From here, my mind opened to the option of considering a tutor. I let my daughter help make the decision as well, as it would be an investment. I have heard countless stories of putting good money after bad, and I didn't want to find myself and my daughters efforts on the short end of that stick.... Then comes Professor Z & Westside Tutoring Services........ Through a little online research, my gut and a personal friend's positive experience (after a few weeks of her high schooler working with Prof Z) we asked him to consider tutoring our daughter. I found him as delightful in person as in his referrals online... Once in awhile in life, you find that person who has a true passion for what they do....& makes sure not only THEY succeed but those people around them do....this is Prof Z. He leaves little to chance. He has created a pretty fool proof way of approaching tutoring that will allow your students true potential to come through in results. It is efficient, focused, and worth every dime. His family is a beacon of kindness and support. I would (and have) told anyone considering tutoring to be extremely careful. Don't waste money on questionable tutors....it's not something to gamble with. After Prof Z's tutoring for 3-4 months and my daughter's hard work, she achieved her personal goal of a 1560 on her SAT. She even left this second go around of the test happy and cautiously confident. Who does that at these painful 3 hour sittings?! Thank you Prof Z....proving to my college bound daughter that hard work pays off. Thank you for sharing your gifts with us, and to all the lucky community of students who cross your path......
Charlotte was my tutor for my first Management Science assignment and I will definitely use her services again in the future. She was very encouraging of questions and very knowledgeable about the subject of statistics, which is very important for someone like me who has a terrible comprehension for statistics. But she was also very patient and allowed me to talk out the problems as she explained them as well. Thanks, Charlotte! Will definitely recommend to my fellow college student friends.
A certified pre-K through fifth grade teacher is available to tutor in all subject areas. I have my master's in education and am going on my fourth year of teaching with a local school district.
I have been helping children meet and exceed their goals for 10 years. I began working with children in high school as a camp counselor and an after school program assistant. I volunteered in elementary classrooms during my junior and senior years of high school, before heading to Bowling Green State University to earn my undergraduate degree in Early Childhood Education. I got my first job teaching 4th and 5th grade reading intervention in the Elyria City Schools. During this time I earned my Master's degree in Reading Specialization. Presently, I am in my 3rd year teaching 3rd grade for the Willoughby-Eastlake City Schools. I provide tutoring services and homework help to ensure that your child is performing to the best of their abilities.

The College Review did a great job adapting to my learning style. I'm pretty visual and learn by practicing problems, so the instructor modified my private lessons to cater to how I learn. It was also cool that I was able to pick any time of day for any amount of times per week to have a tutor lesson. Overall this was definitely worthwhile because my score boosted from a 22-29. I would for sure hire them again if I had to choose.
I offer Spanish tutoring for all ages at the beginner and intermediate levels. I can help students better understand grammar concepts and advise them on more effective memorization techniques for vocabulary. I will also provide additional exercises and practice worksheets if needed upon assessing the student's level and learning needs. I am a very open person and will make sure the student feels comfortable asking me questions when they are confused about something.
English is my second language. I know what it's like to go to an all English speaking school and be expected to follow the instructor just as well as the rest of the classroom.
I tutor students from grade 7-12 in the fundamentals of math and science. My service, in addition, includes the fundamentals of laboratory science.
Simply years of independent tutoring and focusing on study skills while learning material. Some tutors do not teach study skills. I believe they are important in effecting how well a student may perform in class.

John was an immense help!! I went from being frustrated and confused and possibly failing to a B+ in statistics. John is awesome!!
As my students are learning, I like to help them conceptualize how the language works. All languages have been influenced by other languages since the beginning of time. I love using 'cognates' (words in the language we are studying that are similar to ours) to help a student remember vocabulary and verbs more quickly.
