I have been in a lot of different work settings with Lauralee Davis, from MAC to Clinique. I am always impressed with her work ethics & style. Lauralee Davis is a great leader, teacher, artist, co-worker, and team player. She is never afraid to ask for help if she needs it, and is always eager to learn something new. Lauralee Davis is extremely professional (on time, prepared, energetic, ready to contribute). I am always impressed with her work whether it is her artistry, creativity, business analysis, event executions, follow through & follow - up, writing style, and so much more. I don't really wear makeup and to be frank was scared of it. Lauralee did makeup for my wedding this year and all I can say is for probably the first time, I felt beautiful. She did an amazing job, was easy to work with, offered great suggestions, thoughts and ideas. She listened to my concerns and addressed them. I know whom I will be calling in the future for any makeup needs!

Lauralee did my makeup for my wedding as well as makeup for my bridesmaids and my mother. My original artist had to cancel at the last min and Lauralee filled in and honestly did a better job. Everyone got a great natural look with the appropriate level of glame for the wedding. Look held up all day with minor touch ups as expected through the day. Got lots of compliments and could not have been happier with the outcome. Lauralee is super professional. Came on time, set up, talked to each person about norm level of makeup and desired look, and cleaned up after.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do have continual education that I involve myself with. You can never stop being inspired or stop learning. I also am an educator for a cosmetic brand, and the innovator/teacher of makeup design for the US field team for brand.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I come from a family of artists. My grandmother was a makeup artist, and my other grandmother was a painter. I was destined to hold a brush.
