Introduction: My family has been in the hardwood flooring industry for the past 40 years. We handle everything from custom installations to sanding a refinishing. We use the best polyurethane on the market and our quality is superb. Hardwood floor refinishing is a process that must be followed to the T skip just one sanding procedure and the ending result will be affected. To be able to walk into a house and see a floor that other company's would say is unsalvageable and to bring that floor back to life is simply amazing in itself but also just working with wood is awesome the moment that you apply the stain and see all the hard work you did sanding pay off with vibrant colors and a nice smooth finish.

D&J flooring did an amazing job installing new hardwood in my house. They saved me after another installer canceled last minute. I'm a very picky person and D&J's attention to detail was right in line with my expectations. David and his team did a great job refinishing our hardwood floors. Very professional and dependable--they explained each step in the process, were always on time, and cleaned the work area before departing each day. Refinishing hardwood can be a messy process, but they made an extra effort to contain the dust and debris to help minimize the impact in other areas of the house. I highly recommend them.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
My father owned a hardwood flooring company in Columbus Ohio me and my older brothers grew up working in the family business.
What types of customers have you worked with?
Everything from firefighters and police officers to single parents and elderly. We do offer military discounts and discounts for firefighters police officers EMT etc.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that you read reviews and do you research before hiring a flooring contractor. Also make sure that the owner of the flooring company is hands on and on the job sites. I would not hire a company that subcontracts the work out to other people. One more bit of advice is to make sure that the company has their own sanding equipment and do not have to rent machines.
