We had an excellent experience working with Mark and his team. They were utmost professionals and made our event look top notch. The best was their ability to interview our guests and make them feel comfortable answering testimonial type questions. We will be working with Cool Media Productions for all of our future production needs! Thank you!!Jun 20, 2017Verified

- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first step to any successful video project is a client consultation. This is where we get to learn about you and the message you need to deliver. Once we have enough information to determine the resources needed to capture your content and convey your message, I'll prepare a thorough production plan, customized for you and your project. After agreeing on the best production plan and associated proposal, we'll be ready to begin the pre-production stage and start getting your project off the ground. This often includes, but is not limited to: creative concept development, script-writing / storyboarding, finalizing the the date(s) and/or location(s) for the production, arranging any necessary talent, dotting every "i" and crossing every "t" to ensure that you have a complete call sheet and everything is in line for a successful shoot!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?Make sure you are receiving line-item proposals so that you can make apples-to-apples comparisons of the type of crew, equipment, and treatment you'll be receiving, and the associated costs. Pay attention to whether the rates are for Full Days, Half Days, Hourly rates, etc.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?Do I have a set date for when the footage will be shot? Do I have a set deadline for when the finished project is needed? Do I have access to a location that can be used for the shoot? Do I need to hire any talent for this project? Will I need the vendor to do the editing, or do I only require raw footage? Do I have any sample videos I can share to help explain what I like or want to recreate? Any samples of things I don't like and want to make sure we avoid?? Do I have any required camera specs? What is the intended end-use of this video?
