Having hit my weight loss goals some time ago, I found myself occupying a lean but bony body. The strength workouts Id been putting in just had not added up the way Id hoped; I began to think it impossible for a guy in his late 60s to build muscle. When I met Pete, he assured me otherwise. He told me that if I follow his direction on nutrition and exercise, I most certainly can and will add lean muscle. Now, after just a couple of weeks under Petes guidance, Im delighted to report that this *is* going to work! I can feel it. I can see it. Now Im working smart. Now, my time at the gym counts for something. Now, Im getting somewhere! I am so pleased to have this accomplished champ in my corner. Naturally, his own physique testifies to his dedication and technical knowledge, but it is Petes ability to teach and motivate that is, for me, transformative. Every time we meet, I come away stronger, smarter, happier. Pete makes himself available for pointers whenever questions arise. He is responsive to my needs and utterly reliable as a coach. Icing on the cake: Pete is just a great fellow to know. I recommend him unreservedly to anyone who is looking for the most direct path to fitness!
I've worked with Carlos for about 4 months. Upon meeting him for the first time he knew exactly what my body needed and sized me up completely. In the gym, we focused on an intensive bootcamp-like workout helping me increase my endurance and strength. Outside the gym, I was given optional homework to go on runs for a cardio workout. Throughout this period of time, Carlos has been a friend as well as a trainer. I was invited to play Xbox and basketball outside of our sessions. I highly recommend him as a trainer because he definitely has passion for what he does.
I worked out with Michelle for years at Chicago Women's Fitness. I was never in such high great shape and always kept me motivated to do my best. She's a great trainer and although I'm sad to see her leave Chicago I'm sure she will be great for the women in Michigan!

COVAL Fitness is awesome, plain and simple! Wanting to get back into shape and stay motivated, I was looking for a gym or workout environment that would keep me motivated, and I can definitely say that I found that - and much more - at COVAL fitness. Mike and the rest of the team at the gym helped me build a workout plan that would be tailored exactly to my goals, taking into consideration my schedule, my weak spots, and my needs. The workout environment at COVAL is professional (the trainers work with you, making sure your technique is on point, that you're pushing yourself) but also extremely relaxed, friendly and welcoming. Coming to Coval, my main goal was to improve my body composition. But I can honestly say that I gained much more than that - working out at coval keeps me motivated, helps me improve on my technique and allows me to focus on areas and aspects of strength training I wouldn't really prioritize (or, let's be honest, know how to improve on) in a regular gym setting (such as balance, core work, coordination, lower body strength, appropriate stretching and correct warm-up techniques). As I said in the begining; awsome! Plain and simple!

I experience a heart problem in September of last year. Fortunately, I was introduced to the ladies of Farmhouse fitness. Not only did I loose weight, I gained strength, stamina and the knowledge necessary to continue maintaining a healthy life style. Not to mention, my once high blood pressure is now normal. On the physical fitness side, Cassie will start you out on the basics to figure out where you stand and progress at your pace. She is well versed at understanding your limitations and is totally capable of putting you back in shape. Larisa will surprise you with her knowledge of holistic medicine. Over the past few months, Jake has truly helped me gain control of my life again. I have always had such a bad relationship with food and he helped change that. He is such a knowledgeable trainer and he used his knowledge to tailor a program just for me. We worked together for two weeks trying new things to figure out what worked best for me. I am now healthier than ever and have a better relationship with food. I have also trained at the gym with Jake and have learned to really test my limits. Jake pushed me every day to push my limits a little each day and I have reached new personal records with my weight lifting. Overall AWESOME experience training with him and continue to do so!
I loved working with Wendie! Very inspirational and overall a good personal trainer for beginners like me! She gradually helped me build up my strength and after a month, I could easily do exercises that I couldnt do on day 1. I moved out the area, so unfortunately I couldnt go to her again. But i definitely recommend her!
Putting it most simply, Dan has made a huge difference in my life, health, and overall fitness. I have been training with him for around a year, and it has been such a great experience. I had never done any kind of exercise or training before, and he has patiently and carefully taught me so much. Dan takes the time to understand how his clients learn best, and also manages to make the workouts hard but enjoyable (somehow).
My wife and I have been working with Kyle for just over a half a year now. With our initial plan on getting health we felt working out would be the way to go. While most personal trainers focus on either your endurance, strength or stability, Kyle focuses on all three and more. From setting up monthly workplans, nutrition guides, or fitness training, it provides a well rounded experience. Training with A-Team Fitness is the best thing I have done to start living a healthy life through exercise and nutrition. Ive worked with Alex for over a year now and cannot recommend him highly enough. Alex has the perfect balance of being able to push you to get the most out of your training without screaming at you or feeling like you accidentally joined the marines. My 2x a week Choose to Loose sessions are something I look forward to each week, and am still sore after every session. 5 stars. A+. Dont even think twice.
It Mueller Time Fitness/Mike Mueller is a great strength coach instructor. He worked with my shoulder injury so that I could still participate in classes. By attending class regularly I saw major improvement in my strength and weight loss.

I was doing things in class that I never thought possible. I really liked for each exercise Dominic would give three different variations. So you could make everything work for you, at what fitness level you were at .
