Introduction: I am licensed ordained pastor in the Christian Church (disciples of Christ) a non denominational fellowship of churches working together and welcoming all. We are an open church to all who believe. I have years of seminary training that most internet ordained officiants do not have - they simply fill out a form and pay $25 to someone who sends them a ordination certificate. Wedding are so fun! I love meeting couples in love, helping them design a ceremony that fits who they are, and seeing them thru the anxieties of wedding planning to have the ceremony of their dreams!

I would highly recommend Rev. Joel Engman. He is very accommodating to how you would like your wedding day to be. Very helpful, friendly, and is comfortable to be around. You'll feel like you've known him for years. He was always very easy to stay in contact with even though we lived approximately an hour away. Thanks again for our beautiful wedding ceremony! Joel married my husband and I in 2010. He was 100% professional, made us feel relaxed and it seemed as if we had been friends for years! We wanted a simple outdoor ceremony and Joel incorporated the perfect words into our ceremony to make it exactly what we wanted. I would highly recommend Joel to anyone planning their wedding.

We only had one month to plan my daughter's June wedding. Joel officiated at the wedding on very short notice. Prior to the wedding date he met with her personally and her fiance, who was out of state, by phone. He implemented several special requests that they had for the ceremony and he also provided a rehearsal. I definitely recommend Joel.

Meet them and make sure the officiant fits what you want in a ceremony. The officiant can make all the difference between a memorable ceremony and a ceremony gone wrong. Hire a professional with years of training and experience - don't save money by hiring someone with no experience.
