- How did you get started doing this type of work?
After planning and managing events for several non-profit organizations and companies over the past few years, it became a really lucrative opportunity. Event planning is my passion, so I decided to start my own business and pursue doing what I love.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
A lot of customers don't understand the value of having day-of coordinators, which is something that is really important to the event planning/management process. It is so helpful to have someone dedicated to overseeing all of the parts of the event come together on that special day, and as a host you don't want to have to be putting out any "fires" that may happen. Having a day-of coordinator is a really necessary addition to any large-scale event.
