I am Knox County's only active listing agent with Real Living Home Team, who is a practicing certified and FHA approved appraiser as well. Christopher has spent most of his adult life working in the real estate industry in one regard or another. In his own words, "Growing up, every home our family lived in we completely updated, rehabbed, or added onto. The weekends were spent doing home projects. In college, I worked for a construction company reroofing homes during the warm months, so now it's kind of in my blood." In addition to his appraisal career, he has gained personal experience in investment properties, construction or rehab, rental and property management, larger recreational tracts of land, and project valuation analysis. Christopher has had an in-depth knowledge of the real estate market through his appraisal career. "They're aren't too many neighborhoods that I have not had personal experience in from Mount Vernon and Marysville to Circleville. Furthermore, I understand the pitfalls of trying to get a home through the appraisal process which can make or break a sale. My background allows me insight into how to make my clients' buying or selling experience as smooth as possible." He specializes in high-value properties, lakefront, high acreage, investment, bank, REO, foreclosure, estate sales, and valuation and investment analysis. Christopher also has a background in larger tracts of land and timber, as he briefly worked for a certified forester, marking timber for closed bid sales in Southern Indiana for 6 months after college. He earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Finance from Bowling Green State University in 2004 and began his appraisal career in 2005 with R.A. Myers and Associates (Worthington, OH) in 2005, and then he worked with Stickelman Schneider and Associates from 2008 to 2009 (who at the time was the tenth largest appraisal firm in the country) before starting his own business, Apogee Appraisals, LLC in 2010.

I live residential real estate! I do not do property management, commercial, or other time consuming real estate service that can distract an agent. I only help people buy and sell residential real estate. This allows me to focus all my attention on people who are making the biggest investment of they're lives.
