FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Natalia Chase, was born and raised in Columbus, Ohio. She began her music career in her teenage years where she studied voice (under former a college professor & Broadway singer) and participated as a lead soloist for various school and church functions. She furthered her vocal training in her 20's under a gospel professor at Morehead State University and a former classical professor at The Ohio State University. As an inspired writer, Natalia has penned songs spanning three genres. Her heartfelt expressions have become a familiar sound to many. Some of her accomplishments as an artist include her appearances (as a finalist) on Fox 28 / ABC 6’s reality show, “Pepsi's Gimme the Mic” and on Fox 28’s “Good Day Columbus” show with Johnny DiLoretto. She also has had the opportunity to sing live on Sunny 95’s (94.7 FM) Dino and Stacy in the Morning show, and on Sunny 95’s annual “Old-Fashioned Christmas Show.” Sunny 95, Columbus, Ohio's largest crossover-music radio station, gave Natalia’s title song off of her EP, Steady Like the Rain, a great run on the radio. Her song reached number 10 on their charts (in terms of number of plays). In 2008, Natalia received the opportunity to sing one of her original tunes at Pastor Rick Warren's Church (author of the New York Times bestseller "The Purpose Driven Life") in Lake Forest, CA. Further, she released a full length record in 2018 where her song "Breakthrough" not only aired on Noize Radio Live (Orange County, New York), NAM-Radio, Voice of Worship Radio, I Am Radio, Rewind Latino, and more, but her entire record "More " was featured on Gospel Centric and in Music Lov3rz Magazine. Natalia stays abreast on the latest vocal techniques through her involvement with L.A. area music and vocal producer/singer/songwriter, Colin Boyd (who regularly works with Grammy winning and nominated artists). In 2013, Natalia founded “VoiceActivated” to pass on her music business experience to aspiring artists. Not only does she teach privately but in the Spring of 2020, she began teaching a vocal lab at Southeastern University (Polaris campus). Her hope is to use her music training to help people find the beauty and power in their own voices, and develop into star performers!
