I've had an amazing experience with Heidi at Live Fit! She takes the time to listen to your personal fitness goals (in and out of the gym) and create a routine that allows you to be most successful. Heidi not only takes the time to create work out routines ahead of time that help keep me on track, but also works to teach me the proper way to attack a workout which will help me continue to improve my health and fitness. Every time I'm at the gym, I have a positive experience with the entire training staff! I would recommend Live fit and Heidi to anyone at any fitness level. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?When a new customer expresses interest in personal training with Live Fit, we like to schedule a complimentary consultation. We'll sit down with you discuss your goals, current health status, and if you have any injuries. Then, we'll go through a workout together. It gives you a chance to try out a workout and us the opportunity to assess your strengths and weaknesses. After the workout, we will sit down with you to discuss your goals and what it will take to achieve them. If you're interested, we can take come time to go over our packages and payment options.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have a bachelor of science in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Akron and a bachelor of arts in business administration from Cleveland State University. I completed a dietetic internship through the University of Akron's Coordinated Program in Dietetics. I am also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. All of our trainers are certified and/ or have a fitness related degree and a minimum of 5 years experience.
