Introduction: My name is Mark Hedegore and I own Live Fit Personal Training + Nutrition in Westlake. We have a private studio (there are no membership fees) right in Westlake and we specialize in one-on-one personal training and designing customized programs to help you reach your goals. In addition, I'm a Registered Dietitian and can help you create a customized meal plan. There are a few pricing options that will give you some flexibility. One on one training at our facility can range from $30- $40 per half hour or as low as $55 per hour. We offer a free assessment so you can try a workout with a trainer and figure out what package will best fit your goals, time frame and budget. I've had an amazing experience with Heidi at Live Fit! She takes the time to listen to your personal fitness goals (in and out of the gym) and create a routine that allows you to be most successful. Heidi not only takes the time to create work out routines ahead of time that help keep me on track, but also works to teach me the proper way to attack a workout which will help me continue to improve my health and fitness. Every time I'm at the gym, I have a positive experience with the entire training staff! I would recommend Live fit and Heidi to anyone at any fitness level. I'd recommend Live Fit to anyone who has the desire to improve their fitness level. The workouts are personalized to each individual,and designed to encourage you to constantly strive to reach your goals. Mark has helped me to not only boost my confidence level,but to improve my dietary habits (no mean feat). And at 67 years old,I'm just beginning to realize that it's never too late to strive for health and a fit body.

Been going to Live Fit for several years and can honestly say I've never felt better. All of the staff are great and the studio is small, informal and well equipped. I train with Heidi and she's the best!! She always keeps it fun and knows when to push me harder and when to ease up a bit. Also, she's super flexible when it comes to accommodating my often-crazy schedule. A great place to work out!

I cannot express how happy I’ve been with my experiences at Live Fit! Heidi has been my trainer for nearly a year and a half and I have made more progress in this last year and a half than I ever thought possible. I’m an avid runner, but never took the time or interest to focus on my overall health and strength. Heidi is constantly going above and beyond to tailor workouts that build strength that will not negatively impact my running training schedule. I’ve worked with other trainers in the past and none have worked so hard to ensure my goals are the priority instead of goals created on my behalf. I also never felt confident to go to a gym and workout myself and Heidi has taught me so much that I finally have the confidence to keep up my workouts on weeks where I may be traveling and not able to get to the gym. I also appreciate that she continues to engage in the community to learn new workouts to keep things interesting for her clients! In addition to my amazing experiences with Heidi-I have really loved becoming a part of the Live Fit…we’ll say family! Every time I’m in the gym all of the trainers make me feel so welcome and comfortable. Pushing yourself to new limits is hard work, but doing in such a comfortable and supportive environment makes the goals more reachable. I would recommend Heidi and Live Fit to anyone who is looking to tackle new fitness goals or to spice up their existing routine to not get burnt out on staying fit! A HUGE thank you to Heidi, Mark, and the whole Live Fit team for all the strength and confidence you’ve given me so far, and I’m so excited to continue on this journey with you all!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    When a new customer expresses interest in personal training with Live Fit, we like to schedule a complimentary consultation. We'll sit down with you discuss your goals, current health status, and if you have any injuries. Then, we'll go through a workout together. It gives you a chance to try out a workout and us the opportunity to assess your strengths and weaknesses. After the workout, we will sit down with you to discuss your goals and what it will take to achieve them. If you're interested, we can take come time to go over our packages and payment options.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

    I have a bachelor of science in nutrition and dietetics from the University of Akron and a bachelor of arts in business administration from Cleveland State University. I completed a dietetic internship through the University of Akron's Coordinated Program in Dietetics. I am also an NSCA Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. All of our trainers are certified and/ or have a fitness related degree and a minimum of 5 years experience.
