Introduction: It seems that everyone uses that same type of voice for their voice over work. You know the one I'm talking about. That big deep announcer voice. I do not have that big deep announcer voice and that is why I stand out. Why should you use what everyone else is using if you want to stand out? What I like most about doing voice overs is that I get to do something that is unique. I get to do something that I love and really want to do. It is fun and I enjoy being part of a creative process.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a child, I would always record my voice into a tape recorder. I would pretend I was a host or something. When I got older I watched a program that flipped a switch in my brain that made me want to do voice overs. When I thought about doing voice overs and I wasn't doing them, I would get this uncomfortable feeling in my stomach. I don't like that feeling.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is not always about finding the best voice. It is about finding the right voice. It is also about finding someone easy to work with. Someone may have the best voice in the world, but they might not be friendly and won't take any direction. This is suppose to be fun.
