Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Many teachers can perform well, but don't know how to teach in a way that children can understand. I am especially patient, and can work with students at whatever pace fits their individual need. I love helping my students grasp a better understanding of music, and enjoy watching their progress.

Shelley is teaching my son to play the piano. She is great. He just turned 6 and I was a little worried about how he would do, but she is great with him. She is very patience and makes it fun for him. She's also very knowledgeable and professional. I would highly recommend her :)

Shelley provides voice lessons to my son. She's very patient with kids. In addition, she's very talented. She has a beautiful voice. I have also heard her play piano by ear!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

I charge a monthly fee that is due at the beginning of each month.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

If teachers offer a trial lesson, take advantage of it! Don't just go with the first, or cheapest. Don't be ashamed to tell someone that you decided to go with a different teacher. Find the teacher that is best at motivating you or your child.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I spent years practicing to get where I am. Some people have talent in different areas of music. I have a sight disability which prevents me from sight reading easily. Many other pianists can easily sight read music that I must go over slowly before being able to play. The ability to sight-read does not determine a musician's ability, and some of the best teachers cannot play well themselves.
