Introduction: My name is Stacey Stovall, lead behavior trainer at Buddy’s Dog School, and I have been training dogs of all ages, breeds and backgrounds for over 18 years. I have the experience, knowledge, and resources to provide the right solution to any problem. Training Made Simple. Behavior training is highly effective and very simple. Without using treats or other bribes, the dogs learn to be well mannered and obedient! Most importantly, we teach YOU, their owner, how to be the leader of the family! Using simple and effective training methods, the dogs quickly learn to repeat the wanted behavior and stop the unwanted behavior. There are a variety of training program options to provide the right solution for anyone. No matter which option you pick, you will be a major part of the training process to ensure lifelong results. You will also have access to lifelong training support, exclusive boarding for the training graduate and other dogs in the home, plus be eligible to earn other rewards anytime after you complete a training program! Behavior training is a true passion of mine! I LOVE helping people succeed with their dog like they've always dreamed of, especially the ones that have "tried EVERYTHING". There is nothing more rewarding than watching owners enjoy their own dog and have fun!

Stacy did a fantastic job with my puppy and really cares about what she does. She is so professional and really takes time to train not only the dog but also train you on how to work with them. I highly recommend her for training and the results are unbelievable. I can’t thank her enough!!!!

We entrusted our 6-week old German Shepherd puppy to her care. We chose the board and train package, which was our best option. We asked and were allowed to visit her facility prior to having our baby in residence, talk with her about the program and have all our questions answered. Even before we paid a dime. Stacey Stovall is competent, personable and highly effective. We got our baby back after three weeks, with solid obedience skills that we could build on. During his boarding, Stacey kept us up to date with videos of the training, so we could get an idea of what he was working on, and how he was doing. When she brought him home to us, she spent two hours with us (in the rain) demonstrating his training and training us on how to move forward and build on her work. She was a pleasure to deal with and never made us feel like "idiot dog owners" or that she didn't care what happened from that moment on. She even came back 2 weeks later and went over the training process, demonstrating and correcting our behaviors so we could get the most enjoyment and companionship with our beloved Jax. Her facility is safe and secure, her methods work, and she does deliver on what she promises. You can't do better than Buddy's Dog School and Stacey Stovall. We highly recommend her to anyone looking to get training for their puppy. Give her a call, you won't be sorry.

Stacey is amazing to work with! She goes at your pace and concentrates on teaching both you and your dog so you can continue to be successful after training is finished. My rescued Doberman had become more reactive around other dogs when on a leash and after 6 lessons he has improved so much. After working with Stacey, he was calmly heeling circles around other dogs and performing basic commands while other dogs were walking around him. Highly recommend!

Stacey did an absolutely amazing job with my puppy! She had her for three weeks and laid a great foundation for an amazing dog to come. Stacey was professional, communicative, and so easy to work with. I got frequent updates about the progress she was making and was so receptive to any questions I had, both during training and especially after I got my pup back. She started by meeting me and my pup in person to discuss the primary concerns and areas of focus I wanted during boarding. We created a plan and a timeframe that worked for both of us. I love the fact that the training/boarding was in her house in a normal “house” setting and not a dog run or large concrete kennel. She only takes in two dogs at a time to be able to give each the proper focus and attention. After it was finished she spent well over two hours with me going over all of the commands, rules, tips and recommendations that she had put in place. We started at a public area to challenge the dog and help train me as much as the pup on how to correct and act in that setting. Next we did a complete home manners overview for all of the basic things in/around the house. I wouldn’t hesitate to use Stacy again or recommend her. It is a service and a skill that is well worth the money.

Cashew, the Destroyer of Slippers, is our Welsh corgi puppy we got at 10 weeks old. He is so stinkin cute but o so naughty. These were some behavioural issues we struggled with: -nipping at us and trying to herd us -grabbing our slippers, compiling them into a pile in the middle of our living room, and chewing on them to his heart's content -running amok in all directions when walking on a leash, sometimes just plops down in the grass and refuses to budge -going after every dog and human that comes within a 100ft radius -pooping on our living room rug even though we take him outside every hour -barging around on hyperactive drive -rarely responded to commands He's very smart so at 4 months old, we enrolled him in Buddy's Dog School with Stacey for 2 weeks. Stacy sent me daily photos and videos to assure me that he is progressing and in good hands. I was very amused that he has a training buddy Emmy with him. The day that Cashew came back, he showed off everything he learned in a family training session. I really didn't know what to expect but boy was I impressed. Stacey doesn't rely on treats. Her training methods are classical conditioning at its best. Cashew's behavior changes were based on positive feedback and harmless negative feedback that can easily be replicated. She laid a strong foundation for Cashew to be taught what's wrong and what we want. In 2 short weeks, he was able to show us that he can -walk calmy on a leash next to our feet -come to a stop when we stop and sit down next to us -stay seated or laying down in one spot as we move away and around him -be easily directed and calmed down when there are distractions, like other doggys or humans nearby -know commands of sit, down, wait, stay, come, leave it, drop it -knows to potty only outside Best thing is the method that Stacy taught us can be used up continue to train Cashew Now our slippers can finally rest peacefully. Update: it has been over 1 month since cashew has been home. He is older and calmer now and has retained most of what he's learned. Walks are calm and peaceful and we rarely have to correct him. He still knows all his commands. The staff at his daycare always comment on how well behaved he is. We are very happy with his progress.
