Were very quick to get me their first concept. Once we discussed it a little more, they had a new idea ready in only a couple of days. They accommodated every request I had with small tweaks and what not. Would definitely recommend.

I contacted Daryn needing logo and website design. I cannot say enough about how happy I have been with the entire design process. Just from my email and a very basic pencil drawing, Daryn created a logo and website that is truly outstanding!! Everything went smoothly and was done in a timely manner. Now he is helping me with my brochures, banners and t-shirts!! I recommend Flycatcher Studios for all your graphic design needs!!

I cannot say enough about our experience with Darnall & Associates. We came to them with little to no creative vision yet requested logo design, letterhead, envelope design, auto graphics and wearables. Not only did John and his team come through with outstanding preliminary options; they delivered the most outstanding logo and design work we had ever seen. Now 11 years into building the business and the logo still receives compliments from clients and associates on a very regular basis. I was and continue to be impressed with the skill of the design team, the process and the follow through. I truly cannot recommend Darnall & Associates highly enough. With their professionalism, vision and guidance they helped to build a foundation on which we have grown our business exponentially, year after year.

I hired Daniel Fuentes of The Lion's Plan for my project. He was very professional and flexible in scheduling time for multiple appointments as my project progressed. He spent a total of 13+ hours working on my project, 4 of which were independent of spending time with me during the work. One of my requirements was to work with someone one-on-one and Mr. Fuentes did not have a problem with this request at all. He updated me of the progress daily and emailed several documents for my preview before upcoming appointments. I am very impressed with his technical skills and ability to incorporate my ideas easily. I am currently planning a second design project and am negotiating terms with him to complete this one too. I highly recommend Daniel Fuentes for any design projects you may be considering. He earned the 'outstanding' rating as he has earned it hands down! --Edward, satisfied Oklahoma customer

    Q & A

Answers to commonly asked questions from the experts on Thumbtack.

What makes a good logo design?

A good logo is an easily identifiable, memorable image that represents your brand. A good logo design aligns with your business model and expresses your company’s core values. A good logo design is simple, appealing, and easy for customers and viewers to quickly process. Some of the key components of a great logo are type, color palette and design. The scale, font and arrangement of the text you select will all make a difference in the feel and representation of your brand. A graphic designer will help you home in on the colors that best represent your identity and help you keep the color palette simple. The design of your logo includes the shapes you select and the way the color and type are arranged together. Investing in the services of a professional to create your logo design is likely a smart investment for any size business. Nationally, the average price range for a logo designer ranges from $170 to $250.

How much does it cost to create a logo?

Logo design is an important part of your company’s brand development. More than an image with text and color, a logo communicates the tone and personality of your company to your potential customers. Hiring a graphic designer with an appealing portfolio and quality reviews is a solid start to creating a winning logo design. The cost to create a logo can depend on how in-depth the marketing and design services you request are. Designers can create one logo in multiple formats (horizontal, vertical, etc.) to fit both your website and social media platforms, they can create a variety of designs for clients to select from, or they can create multiple logos for one client who needs branding for more than one venture. Logos may be text-only, text and image, or image-only. Many designers and design firms charge by the hour for their services, while other companies offer packages bundled with design services. Here are some examples of cost:

    • National average cost to hire a logo designer: $170-$250.
    • Average hourly rate for a freelance marketing consultant: about $150.
    • Tiered pricing for logo design packages from one firm:
      • Package One: $200 for three logo concepts, three rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
      • Package Two: $350 for 10 logo concepts, unlimited rounds of revision, and a variety of format and color end designs.
      • Package Three: $550 for everything included in the Package Two, plus business card design, letterhead design, social media graphics and an email signature.
      • Package Four: $850 for everything in the Package Three, plus custom brand guidelines, which outline a strategy for creating a consistent branding in the client’s business.
Hire skilled professionals for absolutely everything.
